Have not slept on it yet. It will be for my mom when she visits. It’s nice and high. Will be easy to sit down on for an older person. Feels sturdy. Was easy to put together. Instructions were clear. It took me about 30 minutes by myself and I really took my time to read and follow the instructions. I just have to have my husband check all the screws and bolts and maybe tighten them a little since I don’t have much strength in my hands. Certainly recommend for the price.

This bed foundation was bought for an older 70's bed frame, and worked perfectly. Full bed sizes are not the same as they used to be. Easy to put together. Comfortable, holds up to 1000 lbs, does not bend. Looks great, and easy to move around if we need to reposition the bed.

We've had this bed frame now close to a year and it has been so sturdy and no signs of wearing or bending and supports our heavy King memory foam mattress. Best part is you do not need a boxspring. Does not make any noises, made of great quality materials and does not slide around. Putting it together was very easy. Has plenty of storage underneath!! It looks to have screw whole areas to attach a headboard but we've not found a headboard we like yet. All in all, worth the money! Would definitely buy this brand again if need be.

I bought this platform to fit inside an existing bed frame where the wood slats had broken. The bed is 12 years old and is part of a very nice wedding gift set. I wanted something to last another 15-20 years, but without more wooden slats that will eventually wear out again. I also wanted to replace the original mattress box springs. I wasn't even sure this platform frame would work, as it's designed to be a stand-alone piece of furniture. But unlike other similar frames where the sizing is approximate, the dimensions are exactly as indicated in the product description and this platform frame fit perfectly. The platform frame itself is good quality and easy to assemble. Just pay attention. I put one of the rails on backwards and to take it back apart. That was a real PITA right after twisting the bolts extra tight so it won't loosen up. I highly recommend that you toss out the little metal wrench included with the hardware package. It's thin and doesn't work very well. If you want a really secure fit use a 15mm socket wrench. It will take you literally seconds to tighten each bolt vs. the frustration of trying to use the wrench. The "non-skid" rails aren't particularly impressive. I didn't trust them to not scratch my wood floor and stuck rubber non-skid grommets on the bottom of each. The frame still moves slightly but won't scratch up the floor. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

ALDRICH 12 Inch Metal Bed Frame Queen Size - Double Black Basic Steel Slats Platform: This frame has a solid and clean feel. It is easy to assemble, although if you move, it might take a bit to take apart (you may be able to get away with taking a few bolts out and collapsing hinge sections for partial disassembly). Here are the caveats: (1) You will likely need Bunkie Board to lay over the slats. Slats are 7.5" apart and only less than 1.5" wide for mattress contact. The board will allow your coils and mattress to lay flat and not droop. It also feels more secure when you use the bed and protects your mattress (2) The DIY holes for the headboard are 2.5" spaced apart. Standard spacing is usually 2". You will need universal sliding bolt holes on your headboard legs if that spacing doesn't match. (3) The leg holes do not allow for clean contact because the bolt heads and frame lip on the bed get in the way, leading to a tilt of the legs and less structural integrity. I haven't tried it yet, but I think these (10 PCS 5" Black Flat Mending Plate, Support with Slots Steel Strap Straight Repair Plates Brace, Fixing Bracket Connector, Thickness 1/8") will match the width of the legs (a little less than 1.5" wide) and I can add multiple plates until the headboard legs clear the bolt heads and frame lip. So, prepare accordingly for these added costs. Otherwise, neat setup when all done!

I bought the queen size frame. Arrived on time and package was beat up a bit but that seems standard with heavy boxes. So many bed frames to choose from, so I honestly feel like I got lucky. I’d expect to have exploding parts when opening a bed frame box but this company has made it simple and easy. The parts are quality from the way they feel, the way they’re packed and the way they fit each other like a glove. A simple alan wrench and bolt tightener and very few screws and nuts to put it all together. They even give you a substantial amount of extras! It took me 15 mins to put this together by myself. The ease of the instructions and the well thought out design of the parts made it a cinch. It feels incredibly sturdy and solid! The price surprised me after I realized how much quality was put into this one. You’re definitely getting value for money.
