I recently received my Hive dimmable bulb in the mail. I already have a Hive hub set up. The install process was quick and easy, only taking a few minutes. I screwed in the bulb, turned on the lamp and followed the simple instructions through the app. Once the new device was detected, I had the option to rename the bulb and set up "actions". I set the bulb to turn on when the sun sets and turn off when the sun comes up. So far, the actions have worked flawlessly. I also like the option to set up schedules manually. I set up the Hive skill set up through Amazon Echo. I like being able to use voice commands to control the bulbs. I will definitely be purchasing more to add to my ecosystem. Highly recommended.

Style: Smart Plug
Super easy to to install! Love using it for my Christmas trees. It's nice if I forgot to turn them off before going out of town. Or setting a schedule so it looks like you're in town. The only thing I would say is i wish it was a different design. Like a built in outlet. And for some reason the outlet is tight so it's a little difficult to push the plug all the way in. Other than that, it works great. And I love that the button lights up.

The Hub that I received was previously unboxed and unwrapped. There was no plastic wrapping on the interior or exterior of the box, and the box was obviously damaged. On attempting to register the product I was unable to as the Hive Hub had already been registered. Due to Hive security policy, a hub is only able to be registered to a single user, and is not transferable and is useless to me.

This is easy to set up, the app recognized the door and motion sensor immediately, but I dont like how the hive motion sensor and door sensor don't work with Alexa. Trust me, Hives own website confirmed this. So I have to open up the Hive app to check any activity. Silly, but on the plus side the motion sensor tells you exactly how long motion was detected and the door sensor tells you how long the door was open or closed. I have a different brands door and motion sensor as well, but this one is so much better since it is more descriptive. It also looks nicer too. But I'm not gonna knock Hive for their door and motion sensors not working with Alexa because that's a common theme among various brands. To get the time to update and be accurate I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it a couple tumes, then set actions to notify me then the time was finally correct! I'm not sure if I will buy anymore hive devices, but I'm enjoying the ones I have. I don't like how proprietary they are. I want to use all my smart devices with alexa!

I bought a couple of plugs to trigger our indoor Christmas decorations to turn on 10 minutes before sunset daily. It was easy setting up this type of action via the Hive app and they work great. I can't tell you how much money I have wasted in the past with digital timers that just stopped working with time. These plugs sync with the actual sunset time in my location and I was able to indicate how many hours these should stay on after coming on. Will more than likely end up buying some more for next year's deco additions. I plan on moving these to lamps in my home after the holidays.

Style: Window/Door Sensor
I've been pretty frustrated with this product. We have a fairly large home automation set up in our house but this is the first product that requires its own hub separate from the Google Home hub. Installing the sensors on our garage door was easy and connecting them to the phone app was also relatively straightforward. It's nice because I can now get an alert on my phone any time the garage door opens. I'm still trying to figure out if there is some way to have it ping me if I leave the garage door open at night -- something I'm guilty of doing twice or thrice in the past. So, basic set up is not too bad. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it to integrate with my Google Home at all. I go through the process and the app even has a little toast notification on my phone that says its set up. However, when I go into my Google Home app, there is no mention of Hive or the door sensors. I've been trying in my spare time for a week and it's just no-go. When I have enough free hours, I'll try contacting their technical support but that will be the first home automation product I've ever needed tech support with. All-in-all, I'm going to keep giving it a try. That said, I'm just not a fan of products that require their own hub and then also try to tie into other ecosystems like Google Home.

Style: Cool to Warm Smart Bulb
Really great bulbs! Install was simple and quick on my Hive Hub, and I love the grouping feature. I installed on a bathroom light fixture with 3 bulbs, and after grouping they all behave as one. I have paired with a motion sensor so they come on dimly at night and brighter during the day. My girlfriend is also a fan of using the color temperature adjustment when she does her makeup in the morning since it lets her test all sorts of light warmth.

Easy to setup, reliable sensor for doors and windows. We have these for three doors and they work great. We set them up in not even five minutes, used the tape to attach each piece of the sensor to the door and frame, and it was recognized by the app. We found that the two components do not have to be touching directly in order for these to work, which is great for our uses. We mounted ours in the upper areas of the door, one piece on the door, one on the frame itself.l
