This was the second split unit I've installed, both were 12k 110 units. While it does cool well and is quiet, you can tell it's a cheaper unit from the included accessories. For example, the included lineset and cable to power the head unit are thinner gauge copper and higher gauge wire by comparison. The mounting bracket is also thin and easy to bend if your mounting on brick like I am. I needed a longer lineset for the other unit and ended up using the 16' included cable and lineset from the other brand with this unit. The other issue is the remote and app. I still haven't got the unit to connect with the app and the remote isn't great. All that being said, this unit was $300 cheaper and works just as well. I thought about giving it 3 stars, but that doesn't seem fair. It works, it's quiet, and for the pricepoint this is a very good value if you can live with what I listed above. ... show more

Shipping was very quick, I received the outside unit in 3 days and the inside unit the day after. Installation was pretty straightforward and everything you need is included. I did have an issue with an item, no fault of the sellers, after communicating for a couple days back and forth troubleshooting but still no luck, they sent out a replacement part. The remote and the App are easy to use and work exactly as described. The AC unit works amazing and so does the heat. But what stands out the most is the great communication with the sellers customer support and assistance with the item. I would definitely purchase from this seller again and most likely will. ... show more

I am extremely satisfied with this mini split. Very good quality, this thing is made very well! I have never installed a mini split before until I got this one and it was fairly easy to do. After watching a couple of YouTube videos and reading the Manuel it was no trouble at all. Be sure to buy separately the Nylog refrigerant fitting glue and a set of gauges and vaccum pump. The lines have to be leak tested and under a vacuum before the refrigerant is released into the lines. Youtube videos can explain that better. The performance of this unit is fantastic as well. It runs very quite and does an awesome job of heating and cooling. I will be buying more of these in the future as I live in an older home that heated by a wood stove and cooler by window ac units. So this is my upgrade with out breaking the bank. ... show more

This unit is Awesome! Easy set up, took 2 hours to install, another hour to vacuum down. Start blowing cold air 10 min after start up. Had a little issue finding a 25 amp breaker that was recommended but did find one locally and the unit works amazing. Been 82 degrees and higher the last few days and mini split is keeping the whole house at 68 with ease. I will be buying another one for my garage and my barn. I had questions about shipping and had a answer from the seller in 12 hours. Definitely will buy more from Happy Tao ... show more

Bought the 12k BTU heat pump back in April and could not be more impressed. 1/2 the price of other mini splits and so far has been great. My area is experiencing a heat wave with 100F+ temps with 80% humidity and everyday I have come home to a house that is 70F and 50% humidity. The heat seemed to work well on cooler nights back in April as well. Very simple to install if you have any mechanical knowledge. ... show more

Arrived on time, simple directions, easy install. Youll need an AC Disconnect ($20) and dedicated electrical circuit, hole saw and impact driver then boom, you have a minisplit. Its been running great for about two weeks almost non stop. The ONLY two reasons its not 5 stars: 1) because i have no idea how to change the temp display from C to F. Nothing in the Directions tell you. 2) the bracket that you screw to the wall is spaced 12” apart and not 16” like a typical stud width. I had to cut out a section of wall, block it with some plywood, then patch the sheetrock back up. You MIGHT be able to use some special expanding sheetrock fasteners or some such but i decided it isnt a safe bet. I would rather be sure it is secured to the wall. So i suppose that would require most people to hire someone to install and make it look good. ... show more
