Overall we are happy with this chicken coop. We have 4 chickens. They seem to be doing fine with it. There is enough space for them. The assembly wasn't too difficult. It probably took us about 2 hours to assemble. It is sturdy. One piece of wood arrived with a small crack, but a small amount of wood glue fixed it in a few minutes. Probably the only negative with this coop is the wood is thin and the coating is not very weather proof. It felt almost like a primer paint. The four of us spent a few hours painting every inch of the wood. We didn't paint the roof. This is a good chicken coop. I would recommend it to a friend with the caveat that if you plan to leave this outside it must be painted or be protected from the elements. ... show more

I like that they thought of everything. The wooden dowels made it easy to assemble by myself. This is my 3rd time assembling a coop. This family included locking hinges and a simple piece of wood to hold up the nesting box lid! Lots of room too, I believe you can house up to 6 hens (6-8lbs) I liked it I ordered another one 😊 ... show more
