It looked much bigger in the pictures but it came in 2 boxes, the instructions are good, but best to double check instructions as you are putting it together, mine had cracked parts, the wood is rather cheap and flimsy, but it will work for now and it's serving it's purpose. IDK how long this will last, but I imagine the less it's exposed to the elements, the better. ... show more

Saw this coop new in the tractor supply catalog this year, and found it cheaper here on Amazon! This product only had 1 5 star review at time of purchase, but so happy I took the chance. Took about 2 hours to put it together myself with a power drill, instructions were not specific but got the job done. No parts were missing/broken. Overall pleasantly surprised and would recommend if you are looking for a light weight coop that’s movable, easy to clean, and even has room on the inside for additional perches if you choose to add. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So I read the reviews on this and wasn’t particularly confident of my purchase. It came in two separate boxes but that wasn’t made clear so I waited about another 3 to 4 days for the second package to arrive. It took me a whole day to put this together. So maybe 6 hours. But it was a lot of fun to see it come together. Like an adult lego project. I highly recommend a power drill as hand tightening screws took longer. However, use a low setting on the drill to be careful not to split the wood. I had no issues with this but did have a corner damaged and tried to glue it. Didn’t affect function and hard to notice cosmetically. I was impressed with the instructions, and how each step was thought out and holes were pre-drilled where they needed to be. The roofing and design has kept water out even in bad storms. The nesting boxes are easily accesible and the main area is easy to clean. While putting it together and moving it about after assembly, it definitely is a bit fragile. However this can be a plus when considering weight. It’s made of cedar so won’t quickly. I’ve had my hens in it, outdoors for about a month now and no predators have made their way in. The functionality, appeal of this design and the price compared to other hen houses. Very cheaply made. Definitely not the “all weather” it needs to be under cover and not exposed or it will deteriorate.

Great little coup for my chicks. Sooper cute, like a doll house and truly easy to assemble. I went ahead and used a wood selant prior to assemvbling, and removed the ramp to install a solar chicken door. Very good!

Nice coop , but nesting box separation panels don’t line up with female housing , nesting box flooring not square and many gaps . Does smell pretty strong , had to air out for a week

Mine got blown over a few weeks ago and needs repaired but that was all my fault. 2nd Coop from them and i love the layout.
