I bought this pack carrier for my chicken. She needed something reliable to carry her from home to the vet. She very much like the space and felt comfortable inside. I thought it was also a very nice feature to have one of the ends zip down so her head could go out the side. She also had enough room to move around and turn around if she wanted to. I think a little more space would be nicer. I also think that is the topper a little more rigid, the design would be a lot more sturdy. Overall, it's a very nice pet carrier. ... show more

* It has a small Velcro pocket- fits leash, small toys, small bag of treats- No large toys, water/food bowls ect.. * It has a side zipper for quick access to comfort your pet * it a small back mesh pocket * Plenty of Windows and ventilation- 5 ventilation windows * Bag handles and a shoulder strap - shoulder strap clips, clips are sturdy. Handles have a velcro strap to hold them together for easy caring * two zipper entrances, 1 side zipper for hand to pet/calm kitty/dog * No harness clip * Velcro Bed * Bed is washable and faux fur * -IMPORTANT- zippers to come together and clip, this prevents dog/cat from escaping * seat belt attachment, and they clip as well, clips are sturdy *Mesh screening is tough and fine in size. If you have a nervous, or heavy chewer or digger or feisty and playful cat/dog, the seams around the zippers would break first, but then again, this crate isn't a metal cage created for that "type" of cat/dog. So I wouldn't recommend for those type of circumstances. * Wind and Bind system for the Crate, well this is true but it does cause the crate to roll over. So there is no wire or pvc piping to prevent roll overs. Biggles rolled all the way over and right back up. It didn't scare him, but for others this may be a different story. You need a dog/cat that is crate trained and well behaved. Otherwise, you will be having a dog/cat scooting or even rolling across the floor, like a bag that is on the run. * Biggles is 5.5 lbs, 26" in length, tail is 12" alone, medium hair, Bengal/Main coon mix. Biggles can play, sit, stand, lay, curl up, roll over, and lay fully extended out on his back comfortably. He has his baby blanket, 3 toys inside his crate with him and seems to get along just fine. The bag is not heavy to carry with or without him. He feels comfortable because he can see and breath without becoming overheated. I do have Biggles in a harness in the pictures. Again, this is not an indicator for a harness clip inside the bag. We just finished a walk outside. However, you can clip your dog/cat, but in a different manner. You'll notice a half-zip entrance/exit on the side of the bag with the mesh pocket. If you have a small retractable leash with a small cord, you will be fine. Clip your dog/cat harness, slip the leash through the back half-zipper entrance/exit, then zip and clip it shut. then place your leash inside your velcro pocket for easy traveling. Then when it comes time to open the crate from the full zipper entrance/exit, you can prevent escapes or lunges. Again, if you have a well trained dog/cat, this will be an added security but unnecessary. Also, the tag on out bag stated that our bag is the 2016 edition. So I hope that helps the lack of the harness clip. The bags color is a tomato red. It not a blue red but an orange red. Very pretty and pops. The height is much taller than the description. When the bag handles are not Velcro-ed together, the bag height with screen fully up was 13", but with the handles in place it reached 12" and when the screen is smashed down it reached 11". So there is some fiddle room. Everything else match according to product description and the tape measure pictures indicate it. please look at them. One more thing, my bag smelled new, but had NO foul odor, and no residue coming off or any bad seams and no zipper malfunctions. I received my bag within 3 shipping days from the order day.     • Perfect for my 2lb Maltipoo puppy and I think she can use it as an adult, too.
This OxGord red small size carrier is perfect for my 2 lb Maltipoo puppy. (She will grow to 8-10 lbs and I think she will still fit, though snuggly with no room to spare.) I put the carrier by her food bowl for several days before we were to use it for the first time and she liked the "den-like" quality of it and the padded white bottom that just slides into place. It has strong screening on five of the sides. Put toys inside to help her get used to it. The inside seams are bound well to discourage the dog from chewing on it. Top doesn't unzip but it is OK because both ends unzip and have plastic clips to keep pup from pushing her way outside. There are plastic clips attached to straps on the front which are for seat belts--haven't tried that yet since my dog was happy to sit in carrier on my lap (when I was a passenger) in car. Carrier has a padded strap to use to carry dog and a shoulder strap which I hope I don't have to use, because you can only carry so much when you are holding a dog and trying to keep her from shifting her weight. The padded white "bed" inside gives the carrier some sturdiness so she feels pretty stable. Carrier has a velcro pouch on front to carry small items (like "the bags of shame" as my husband calls them) and another stretch netting pocket on one end for more small items. Comes with a kind of flimsy plastic name tag in the shape of a bone, but I will put a tag I got with name and microchip info securely into one of the strap holders. I don't plan to use it as a flight bag, but it looks like it would fit under the seat in front and the dark screening gives her a little privacy if she gets scared from being in an airport, etc. One side is mostly screen, one side is half screen and the half-moon shaped screen is for petting--I wish it had the plastic clips to secure it as my dog tried to get out that way since she is so small. I think you could use the carrier for a short term spend-the-night spot if you wanted and if dog was small enough and had toys inside. I think the real test would be if an unruly, unhappy dog used it--in time he might chew his way out if he was determined, but don't think that will happen with my maltipoo.
