Cheap alternative to the expensive fishing drones!
I recently purchased the BRDRC Airdrop Payload System for my DJI Mavic Mini, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Here’s a detailed look at why I’m so impressed: Easy to Install: The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. The package included clear instructions, and I had it set up and ready to go in no time. Even if you're not particularly tech-savvy, you'll find the installation a breeze. Works Flawlessly: This system works flawlessly! I’ve used it multiple times, and it has consistently performed as expected. The release mechanism is reliable, and I’ve never had any issues with it malfunctioning or failing to drop the payload when needed. Doesn’t Impact Flying: I was pleasantly surprised that the payload system doesn’t impact the flying capabilities of my drone at all. It flies just as smoothly and responsively as it did before I installed the system. There's no noticeable difference in the drone's performance, which is a huge plus. Reliable Offshore: I tested it offshore in windy conditions, and it held up perfectly. Even with stronger gusts, the drone remained stable and the payload system operated without a hitch. This reliability is crucial, especially when flying over water where any failure could mean losing valuable equipment. Sensor Adjustment: Just a tip for new users: make sure to adjust the item correctly to turn on the drone without blocking the sensors. Initially, I struggled a bit with this, but once I figured out the correct positioning, it was smooth sailing. This minor adjustment ensures that all drone sensors function properly, maintaining safety and control. Impressive Range: The system works easily out to 800 feet, which is fantastic for my needs. Whether I’m dropping bait or delivering small items, the extended range gives me a lot of flexibility and control over where I can operate. Capable of Carrying Payloads: I was able to carry live bait and surface jigs without any issues. It handles the payload like a champ, maintaining stability and precision. The payload capacity is sufficient for my fishing needs, and the system securely holds the items until I’m ready to release them. Highly Recommend: Overall, I highly recommend the BRDRC Airdrop Payload System for anyone who enjoys fishing on lakes or even in the ocean. It’s a game-changer for aerial fishing and adds a new level of excitement and efficiency to the experience. Whether you’re dropping bait far from shore or delivering small items across a body of water, this system will meet and exceed your expectations. In conclusion, if you own a DJI Mavic Mini and are looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and effective payload system, look no further than the BRDRC Airdrop Payload System. It’s an excellent investment that enhances the versatility and functionality of your drone. ... show more

Works almost too well
This really works well, although too well. I was flying some very heavy bait out into the ocean, and about 100 yards out, my reel tangled. Now, a lessor device would have broken, but not this one; this one stayed firm and took the entire drone down into the water, and hung on well enough that the line wrapped around the drone and I was able to reel it back in. It actually still works (not the drone). This is a good device. The battery never died and I put quite a bit of flight time on it before the incident. ... show more

DOES NOT WORK WITH MINI 4 PRO
As the title says. The mini 4's obstacle avoidance sensors pick this up in all flight modes. The drop unit does work and it would have been nice to use , just not on the mini 4.

Great little device
Good range for dropping bait with a drone. Using a dji mavic air 2 with 10oz lead and can get over 200 yards out easily. I was amazed when I pressed the release button and saw my weigh splash on the water. I highly recommend this for anyone using a drone to fish with

Works exactly as intended
The media could not be loaded. This product makes fishing so much more enjoyable. Drone fishing isn’t just for the surf! I use it to hit the channel in large rivers for the biggest catfish. I picked up a 3oz sinker, a demon dragon rig, and a live large bluegill with my Ruko F11 Pro with ease. The remote has almost zero response time and I’ve used it as far as 250m out without a hitch. I love that it’s also universal to fit most drones. It’s way better than any DIY rig. Stop thinking and buy it, you won’t regret it. ... show more
