This really works well, although too well. I was flying some very heavy bait out into the ocean, and about 100 yards out, my reel tangled. Now, a lessor device would have broken, but not this one; this one stayed firm and took the entire drone down into the water, and hung on well enough that the line wrapped around the drone and I was able to reel it back in. It actually still works (not the drone). This is a good device. The battery never died and I put quite a bit of flight time on it before the incident.

As the title says. The mini 4's obstacle avoidance sensors pick this up in all flight modes. The drop unit does work and it would have been nice to use , just not on the mini 4.

Good range for dropping bait with a drone. Using a dji mavic air 2 with 10oz lead and can get over 200 yards out easily. I was amazed when I pressed the release button and saw my weigh splash on the water. I highly recommend this for anyone using a drone to fish with

The media could not be loaded. This product makes fishing so much more enjoyable. Drone fishing isn’t just for the surf! I use it to hit the channel in large rivers for the biggest catfish. I picked up a 3oz sinker, a demon dragon rig, and a live large bluegill with my Ruko F11 Pro with ease. The remote has almost zero response time and I’ve used it as far as 250m out without a hitch. I love that it’s also universal to fit most drones. It’s way better than any DIY rig. Stop thinking and buy it, you won’t regret it.
