I just started using the DJI RC Pro 2 Controller with the Mini 5 Pro. The controller is the best I have ever used. Excellent visibility no matter how bright it is. Clear, sharp and vivid color. The screen unfolds and the unit is ready to use. Viewing angle of the screen is adjustable to personal preference.     • Very Nice Upgrade From The DJI RC-2 Controller
Was a bit thrown off by its title of "for Mavic 4 Pro," when I have a Mini 4 Pro, but looking closer at the description I was pleased to find that it works with several drones. Have to admit that I was at first not overly impressed, and could even say underwhelmed, but after taking a second look when I got it and taking it for some test flights the first day, I decided it was a big improvement over the RC-2, which I still plan to use when I have a need for something smaller, like when using it on a bicycle or doing a lot of walking around when using the controller What I specifically like about this is of course the bigger and brighter screen, the way it conveniently folds up and turns on automatically when you unfold it. Having an HDMI port is very nice, since I like to watch my stuff on a big screen TV. Quality is excellent, value for the money is good, got it for a few hundred less than it was going for a few months ago, battery life is about the same as the RC-2 which is about 4 hours, sets up easily, connects well, and easy to use. Did have a few problems first day out with it, with some Hyper-Lapse files getting corrupted, satellite maps not showing up well, but after taking a second look at these problems, I would attribute them to the drone rather than this controller, particularly when during one of the flights I got a screen message stating that the drone temp was a bit high, which may have caused the file problem. Although I had at first decided not to get this controller, am overall, quite impressed and pleased with having went ahead and getting it. ... show more

Best controller for the DJI Mavic Pro 4, Air 3S, Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, etc. Expensive but worth it to me for use with my Mini 5 Pro. The RC Pro 2 is also good, but not in direct sunlight. It is somewhat lighter in weight however.

On the fence about upgrading to this controller? Well get off. This is the ultimate controller for all supported DJI products. I live in Arizona which is comparable to living on the surface of the sun. This is viewable even in the bright Arizona sunlight.
