I've been flying my Air 3S with the DJI RC Pro 2, and the combination has been outstanding. The controller feels like a significant upgrade over the standard options. It's well-built, comfortable to hold during longer flights, and the controls are precise and responsive, giving me confidence whether I'm taking photos or recording video. The display is one of the biggest highlights. It's bright enough to remain easily visible in full daylight, and the image is incredibly sharp, making it much easier to evaluate focus, exposure, and composition while flying. Not having to connect my phone is another huge benefit—I can power on the controller and drone and be in the air within minutes. Performance has been flawless. The interface is smooth, apps launch quickly, and I've experienced stable connections and excellent battery life throughout multiple flying sessions. I also appreciate the ability to install additional Android apps. Having tools like weather forecasting and flight planning available directly on the controller adds another level of convenience without needing to switch back to my phone. Paired with the Air 3S, this controller really enhances the overall experience. The larger, brighter display makes it easier to take advantage of the drone's excellent cameras, and everything feels polished and refined from takeoff to landing. It's definitely a premium product, but the quality, convenience, and overall user experience make it well worth the investment. This controller is TOP launch and provides excellent quality. The screen is very bright and highly detailed but did you know that the FCC is wanting to band DJI from this country? That’s right they have no valid audit to do so they’re making assumptions because their Chinese made, but DJI makes the best products in the world when it comes to drone and cameras. Their goggles and controllers are awesome. Tell the FCC to stop the band on DJI and do a fair and complete honest audit. I really like the RC Pro 2 controller. The larger screen and added brightness really are great on sunny days. There are several added controller features not available on the RC2 controller. The price was very hard for me to justify before ordering but I do not regret my purchase after flying with it for a few weeks. Great controller, comfortable to fly with. Best controller for the DJI Mavic Pro 4, Air 3S, Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, etc. Expensive but worth it to me for use with my Mini 5 Pro. The RC Pro 2 is also good, but not in direct sunlight. It is somewhat lighter in weight however.

    • Very Nice Upgrade From The DJI RC-2 Controller
Was a bit thrown off by its title of "for Mavic 4 Pro," when I have a Mini 4 Pro, but looking closer at the description I was pleased to find that it works with several drones. Have to admit that I was at first not overly impressed, and could even say underwhelmed, but after taking a second look when I got it and taking it for some test flights the first day, I decided it was a big improvement over the RC-2, which I still plan to use when I have a need for something smaller, like when using it on a bicycle or doing a lot of walking around when using the controller What I specifically like about this is of course the bigger and brighter screen, the way it conveniently folds up and turns on automatically when you unfold it. Having an HDMI port is very nice, since I like to watch my stuff on a big screen TV. Quality is excellent, value for the money is good, got it for a few hundred less than it was going for a few months ago, battery life is about the same as the RC-2 which is about 4 hours, sets up easily, connects well, and easy to use. Did have a few problems first day out with it, with some Hyper-Lapse files getting corrupted, satellite maps not showing up well, but after taking a second look at these problems, I would attribute them to the drone rather than this controller, particularly when during one of the flights I got a screen message stating that the drone temp was a bit high, which may have caused the file problem. Although I had at first decided not to get this controller, am overall, quite impressed and pleased with having went ahead and getting it. ... show more

I just started using the DJI RC Pro 2 Controller with the Mini 5 Pro. The controller is the best I have ever used. Excellent visibility no matter how bright it is. Clear, sharp and vivid color. The screen unfolds and the unit is ready to use. Viewing angle of the screen is adjustable to personal preference.
