I do commercial drone photography and the DJI Mini 3 does everything I need for most projects although I still bring my Mavic and Air just in case. Will probably switch to the Mini 4 Pro and since the Mini 3 has become my main drone I decided to upgrade the case. For the money, this is a super great case. I don’t love the decision to have three separate battery slots plus a fast charger slot (which would hold 3 batteries on its own), but if you don’t care about it staying “pretty” you can take a razor to it and customize it. Nice sturdy case that is significantly larger than my old soft case (pictured). It could be smaller and maybe I would pay 2-3x the money for a more compact or customizable version, but for $40 this case is a great value. If you fly drones for a living I definitely recommend the hard case you can toss in a car and not worry about damage. For compact travel applications this is not appropriate, either get a soft case or pack it carefully. Side note, I bought a case for my Starlink mini from the same company and it’s AWESOME. I bought this case in Feb of 2024, and here we are in April of 2026, and I'm happy to say that the case is still performing fine. Latches, handle and hinge are still good. The foam is still nice.
