Only used this for a few days and just tried the AI patrol at night. We will get the complaints out of the way first so you know what to expect. I did just return an extremely high rated plug in so I am very picky about my reviews. I have learned you cannot trust most reviews anymore. I did however keep my pressure setup as a back up. CONS 1. The fine filter could use alittle work. I would suggest an entirely different basket instead of just an insert. Id be willing to pay extra for it for the few times I would need to use it. But the standard filter it comes with works fine. 2. The next complaint is control under water which could have been alleviated by using hydrocom support. 3. App only supports one user should be a simple update to add in an invite feature. 4. Docking.....Wish it could float. PROS 1. Suction is adequate and so is scrubbing or I would not be able to make the first complaint in my CON list. The regular basket is fine enough to hold most visible debris. 2. Just used the AI patrol at night after a small storm and it worked well. Missed some debris in corners was cool to watch it run amuck with the lights on. 3. No more random patterns like some of the more expensive plug ins and what not. 4. Easy to use. Seems to do a decent job. No plugging in directly to the unit. You can charge it anytime. 6. Customer service is extremely responsive so that's a major plus. Does it save money? I am not sure yet...Its going to have to last awhile without spending alot on preventative maint or maint in general to save any money. Overall as with any cleaner do not expect to open your pool full of leaves with it. That will still require some effort on your part or paying someone to do it. For what I plan on using it for which is cleaning a few times a week and after bad weather it seems to perform well and outperformed the maytronics I had to return. I also flipped for the skimmer... its pretty neat. I caught myself steering it around just because I could. It helps the built in skimmer but is slow overall.

I have had the V3 for a few days and it is great. It cleans thoroughly and covers the whole pool. Easy push button settings for the different modes, floors,walls or both. Runs for about three hours. The Aiper app makes it easy to put in AI mode for seeing obstacles and large debris. At night, the headlights come on and illuminate extremely well. The charging stand is a bonus. Just set the v3 in it and that’s it. I purchased the V 1 a couple of years ago and it still cleans flawlessly, so I wanted to try this one with added features. I am very happy. Aiper customer service is the best! I have had a couple of questions and when I call, a real person answers promptly and is knowledgeable. I highly recommend this model and the Aiper team.

If I could give it zero I would, but it’s not a bad product…when it’s working. I bought this in late May and it was great…for about 2.5 months. In early August it was cleaning the pool and just stopped, amber indicator light flashing at the bottom of the pool. Took it out, put it on the charger and it just kept trying to reset. Wouldn’t connect to the app and wouldn’t respond to pressing to power button, so I started a service ticket with Aiper and this is when things got bad. They basically told Meg only option was to send it in for repair so begrudgingly I did. About a week later I get it back with a letter saying they found a fault in the motor and replaced it. I thought ok everything’s fine, put it back in the pool and WITHIN THE FRIST 20 MINUTES the amber indicator came back on. This time it was a camera issue fault and looking at the camera lens I could see it had debris behind the glass and the lights were fogged like it wasn’t sealed. I was pissed, started another service ticket and was told the same thing “send it in we’ll repair it”. This time was different because the support email reply was from the same person with the same verbiage, I escalated the ticket to a supervisor like I did the first time saying I want a new one sent not a repair and Summer the supervisor replied saying they wouldn’t send a new one and I should reconsider the repair and “ Please rest assured that the repaired machine will be inspected and confirmed to be in good condition before being sent back to you.” Do you know how insane it is to say to someone not to worry it’s inspected after repair to be in good working order after a repair that WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT IN GOOD WORKING ORDER?!? Sufficed to say I didn’t have anything to reconsider as my only option is to send it back or have a $1000 paper weight for a pool cleaner. Not to mention they only respond between the hours of 8pm and 4am CST. This company’s customer service IS A JOKE! DO NOT BUY!!!

I am 77 years old. Keeping up with my 20,000 gal. pool has become imposible due to my health. I bought an AIPER Scuba V3 AI Vision Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner. They say robots are going to put people out of work. Well… this is one job I want to lose. And, I did. The AIPER works as advertised. The only thing I do now is take the AIPER out of the water, use a 2 wheel dolly to take it to the charging station (it is heavy), and recharge it. My pool sparkles. It runs on a charge for about 3.5 hours. When it is done, the pool is clean. I have a lake and a sandy beach in the backyard. When the grandkids come over, I usually have a good amount of sand in the pool. AIPER takes care of that with the included filter. However, I also bought the AIPER micron ultra fine filter. It is amazing. I am not going to discuss all of the other features of this equipment. You can read about them on Amazon. Everything works as advertised. However, I am going to discuss something that I have not seen anyone else mention. The AIPER does a great job stirring up the water. The AIPER pump blows water out the top port aggressively. I do not put the AIPER in the pool immediately after adding chemicals. But… when I do add the AIPER to the pool, I can be assured there are no chemical hot spots when the grandkids enter the pool. Also, when testing the water, you can pull a sample from any level. The water is throughly mixed. I also bought a robot that only cleans the surface of the pool. The 2 robots together makes life easy. I bought the surface robot first, a few weeks before I bought the AIPER. I have since learned that AIPER also has a surface robot. By the way, the 2 robots will not collide. One is on the bottom of the pool, the other on top.

August 22 update.. First off I have to state that Aiper Customer Service is UNPARALLELED! I am NOT an influencer, tech specialist, or daily product reviewer. What I am is a busy working mother of 4 who now also has 5 grandchildren. I have been cleaning pools since I was 15 and decided it was time for someone else to assist with the work. Time to look at robotic cleaners. In my original review I was not happy - clearly. Aiper customer service reached out and they are WONDERFUL! Asked questions, gave helpful suggestions and continually followed up. I really wanted to give the Aiper Scuba V3 more time to prove itself and I wanted to try multiple functions in different environments (normal pool cleaning, after storms, etc.). We found the unit performed wonderfully for wall and waterline cleaning. No issues with the unit falling from the wall (deep end is sloped 8 feet) BUT, we had an issue with the floor cleaning. I decided to install the buoyancy foam pieces. I really didn't expect much change with these small foam pieces in place but, WHAT A DIFFERENCE THEY MADE! For some reason, and I'm no engineer, they really helped the unit to pick up the small debris on the floor. I'm not going to say it was on the first pass but, at the end of the floor cleaning cycle 95% of the debris was picked up. AI performance for debris hunting needs some updates which I hope Aiper is working on. After working with customer service to find a solution for the debris hunting it was decided that due to the size of our pool and type of debris we have we would have better results with the Scuba V3 Ultra. We have used it twice. First with the AI feature - the unit finds and grabs debris on its first pass! and yesterday, after a pretty large storm in the area the night before, I personalized the unit to do floor, walls and waterline. This unit has a TON of functions! Our main debris is sand and pine needles - not an easy pickup job. It did a great job on the waterline and walls especially getting those pine needles off of the tiles. Why not a 5 star review - Well, I am hoping as this unit is fairly new that Aiper will have a firmware update to assist with the AI detection better. We have one area of the pool which the unit just missed on both tries. There are still many options to try - which I will be and will update review again as we use it more and find the features that work best for us. Overall I am very happy with the unit and would definitely recommend. Original review: Used for the first time. Fully charged And placed in the pool on auto mode. Climbed the walls, steps and brushed waterline fine. Picking up debris? Not so good. Never went into floor mode. I took the aiper out of the water and put on floor ai mode. Went right over areas with debris and picked up little if any. I picked this product after a lot of research because I have in floor pop up vacuum heads. It went over and got stuck on one but did go around the drains and other heads. The cleaning performance was horrible. Although there was debris in the filter it failed to pickup sand and leaves after going directly over it. It just scattered it more. Giving it one more chance today if performance is not better I will be returning.

This is an update to a review I gave the Aiper Scuba V3 AI I did a few weeks ago. A lot has changed - for the better! After posting my review, I was contacted by Aiper Customer Support via Amazon. One of their support folks (Yohanna). She sent me a long, detailed message asking me the check various settings on the robot, for any photos I could supply showing my pool, issues I was seeing etc. She also gave me more detail on how the Scuba robot operates. She also mentioned they had an update to the firmware and asked me the check/change a few of the settings on the robot. I was very impressed with the quickness of response and the details and recommendations they provided. They also offered to extend my 30 day return window (I was a week or so past it). I responded to the message and told them I would do the software update and change the one setting (Adaptive mode rather then shaped). After making the changes, I ran the Scuba again. It made a huge difference! I actually saw the Scuba do a rotation, notice a small dark leaf on the pool floor and went to it and cleaned it up. After the complete cleaning cycle - the pool looked great!!! I can’t say enough about the after-sales support of Aiper. The support person messaged me a few more times to check how it was going and to make sure I was a happy customer! Needless to say, my older review (I left it below) is now no longer my actual review. If I could give Aiper 5+ stars I would - both on how well the Scuba V3 operates and cleaned AND how great their support is. Highly recommended :-) ————————————————— old review for reference —————————————————————— AI Must mean Always Ignoring. I have used this Scuba V3 for approx. 6 times and so far I would not say I am not impressed. Let’s get the positives out of the way. It is pretty light Cordless is much easier than corded Wireless charging dock is well designed and easy to use Simple “push one button” operation Good filter basket and fine fabric filter What has been an issue. After every cycle, there is always a few things left in the bottom of the pool. For the 90% that it cleans, it cleans well. When first dropped in, it does a full 360 rotation. Maybe figuring out where the walls are. What is frustrating is that it does this multiple times. Not cleaning, just looking around. It would be fine if it’s “vision” and “AI” saw something and went and vacuumed it up. At least with my robot - it often just goes right by things that are obvious. Frankly, the AI Vision needs a lot of work. I am close to returning it and going back to my corded Dolphin which at least cleans better. I am hope a firmware update gives it better “vision”. I still have a few weeks on the return window. At this point and at the price point of the Scuba V3 I have a hard time recommending it. And I had such high hopes…

Does the job. Climbs the wall. This version just stops in the bottom of the pool wherever when battery is out and I have to retrieve it with the hook provided. No big deal but would be nice if it came to the edge of the pool and stopped. I have a covered pool so not much debris but does get little bits of sand and gravel. easy to empty to the catch basket. Scrubs the water line well. Happy with this purchase.

It's ok. I had an Aquabot for ten years, still runs but the movement pieces won't work. It ran as long as I needed and was so reliable and quick to pickup debris which I get alot of. I almost sent this back but it works to a degree. I love the charging station, super easy. It doesn't last that long though and misses huge areas of the pool thus I still have to use my pool hose but overall, I'm tired of trying to find a cleaner that compares to my Aquabot. It also is all scratched up after 35 days of use, from pulling it out of the pool with the hook provided.
