Seems to be quite sturdy and assembly was no problem. Assembly took about an hour for one person, helps if you have a 13mm socket and ratchet however a set of 4 high quality wrenches is included for assembly which surprised me. The great thing about this hoop is that it will adjust from about 4' to 6' if you assemble using only two poles which allows for upright storage in the standard garage. Removing 4 bolts allows you to add the third pole after which the hoop adjusts from about 7' to the standard 10' (rim height, not to the top of the backboard). The adjustment lever works flawlessly and even my 8 yr old can make the adjustment with a bit of effort. Seems to roll quite easily filled with water (I added the base gel which was a good addition). All in all this is a great purchase with regard to overall quality, ease of assembly and adjustability. Looking forward to a lot of fun with the family on the court.. ... show more

Relatively easy to put together. Took my husband and I about an hour. Hasn’t blown over 😆 we have 3 sand bags on it and despite a few fierce windstorms, it has held strong.

Instructions don’t tell you where parts are. Had to find hidden parts under the base. Base seems like it’s gonna break if moved too much. Instructions lack washer placement and tightness on bolts n nuts. Looks nice when done. Easy to move up and down. Last step of putting on rim was hard. Needs two and put poles on hoop side so it’s easier to mount. ... show more

    • Heavy duty basketball goal
Bought the Aimking Portable Basketball Hoop for my Grandkids to use. It's well built and provides a great way to play basketball without having a permanent structure attached to the house or a permanent pole concreted in the yard. Its a bit heavy to move around so the kids can't do it by themselves, they need an adult to move it. You tip it over to move on two wheels attached to the counterweight tank while the adult holds and pulls the backboard end. The bottom counterweight tank leaks water when you tip the unit over to move it anywhere. The tank plug is not water tight. If you want to make any adjustment to the rim height this also requires an adult. This process is a bit time consuming but fortunately I've convince the kids to "set it and forget it" - playball! ... show more

I got this so I could easily tuck it away using the adjustable handle into my garage when not in use and take it out and prop it to the max 10' for practice. I got all the way to the end of assembly to realize it's NOT fully adjustable! The only way to make it 4.8' and then 10' is DISASSEMBLE the main pole each time. This is NOT ADJUSTABLE 4.8' to 10'. It's 4.8 to 6.8 OR 8' to 10'. Now I'm stuck with a pile that's too short but fits in the garage or too tall but I can't store it away. TOTAL WASTE IF MONEY. Sooo Frustrated! I wish the description was more articulate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hoop FOR THIS NEEDING 4.8' TO 10' SIZE. ... show more
