It wasn't completely fair for another reviewer to say it looked more like a Jheri curl - well, it did when it first came out of the bag in which it was tightly compressed. But it very clearly says on the bag to shake it out well before using. And shaking it out works. The more I shook it out, the softer and more manageable it seemed to be. I have to return it because it just looks a little too big on me (I bought it for a hippie costume) but for the price it's a very good buy. It's soft and it did not shed on me at all. If you want to style it more, I would use a thick wide tooth comb. I would say the quality is pretty decent especially for the price. I wish I could have made it work on me.

Bought this wig for my 12-year old son to be Bob Ross for Halloween and it is a really good wig! And for such little money! In my experience Halloween wigs almost never fit quite right or look like the picture on the package when they're used in real life. But this one was perfect - fit nicely on the head and was a big round curly style just like in the picture. Don't hesitate on this one!
