This has become an integral part of starting my seedlings. I have started seeds in the included seed starter set as well as starting them in my Aerogarden and transferring them to the tent to adjust to growing in dirt. It's a very nice tent. It went together easily and it is very sturdy. I couldn't use the heat mat because the area I had the tent was never really cold. The heat from the lights kept the area nice and warm. I also had to keep the window flap open to help with the heat. I think this would work really well in a cooler area or a garage. It creates enough heat to keep all the little seedlings warm. It was not super easy to set up the growing cycle. Everything works, that wasn't the problem, it was the setting up the times to turn on and off. Really only the humidity. It was either swimming in fog or dry like the desert. I think it is priced well for having a complete package. Everything you could possibly need was included. Seedlings sprouted quickly and the fan kept the stems strong.

I've never had a cloning tent before but I've always wanted one. I have to say from all the research I've done on these things that this one is top tier and in my opinion, beyond a great value for your money. The tent itself took me a fair amount of time to set up because of my unfamiliarity with it. I thoroughly read my instructions and took my time. I don't want to tell you how long it took because I'm sure it took me longer than the average person. Nonetheless, it was a well laid out process for me because of the instructions. It's plenty big to harbor enough plants that it's worth your time and effort. I'm really blown away and amazed by the bluetooth and connectivity of the tent. To be able to be away from home and monitor your process is an absolute game changer. The overall quality is exceptionally high. The tent serves its purpose and is representative of its functionality. You are in complete control with this machine. If you're looking to grow and you want to do it fast, productive and have your finished product as excellent as it can be. Don't hesitate and get yourself this clothing from VIVOSUN.

I am convinced some of the other reviewers did not actually try to use this system the way it is advertised. Because if they had, they would have run straight into the same issue I did. Let me start with the good. The physical components are actually pretty solid. The grow tent is made of thick fabric. The heat mat seems fine. The humidifier works. The circulation fan works. The lights are decent for a propagation setup. On the hardware side, I do not have major complaints. The problem is the so called smart integration. The included smart power strip is supposed to tie everything together into one automated growing environment. In theory, you use the app to control lights, heat, humidity, and airflow based on temperature and humidity triggers. That is the whole selling point. Basic timed cycles do work. You can set the lights to run in 12 hour cycles. You can set the fan to turn on and off in timed increments. Simple on and off scheduling is functional. What does not work, at least in my extensive testing, are the environmental triggers. If you set the humidifier to turn on when humidity drops below 75 percent and turn off above 85 percent, it should respond automatically. It does not. I have watched humidity drop below 40 percent and nothing happens. I have seen it climb close to 99 percent and the humidifier does not shut off. The same issue applies to the heat mat. I had temperatures climbing above 95 degrees even with the shutoff trigger set at 95. It simply ignored the rule. The sensor itself appears to read fairly accurately. It is within a few degrees of my reference meter. So it is not a measurement issue. It is a trigger execution issue. To make it worse, the trigger numbers do not even stay consistent. If you set humidity to 85 percent and close the app, sometimes when you reopen it the number has shifted to something like 84.9 percent. I do not understand why it changes itself. Without working triggers, this is not automation. It is just remote control. And constantly opening your phone to manually toggle devices defeats the purpose of buying a smart system in the first place. Because of that, I am giving this two stars. The hardware is decent, but the software is the brain of the system, and right now that brain does not function the way it is advertised. ...one more thing. Vivosun has zero documentation on how the trigger system is supposed to work. I searched numerous times for some documentation both in the included materials and online and never saw anything that described how the trigger system worked. What I did find is a bunch of other users asking the same question and having the same issue.
