These puck lights are great for most light fixtures but if you need them for a smaller fixture that takes e26 bulbs, you may not be able to use these. I got these for a small chandelier and these are too wide to go in the fixture. I have other uses for these lights so not a waste but something to consider. ... show more

I am using these differently than promoted. I do not have non hard-wired sconces that I want to screw these into. I just put the 3 AA batteries in the back and place them without that backing in places I want to illuminate using the remote control. This can be a corner in the living room or on a countertop that needs more light or even just a temporary place where I need light. I can see mounting a fixture on the ceiling and not hard wiring it and placing one of these inside and using it with the remote for light. It is the remote that makes them very versatile. Plus you get two separately operating sets each with its own remote. The remote gives the option of 3 different kinds of light: warm white, neutral light and cool white. There is a timer on the remote from 15 minutes to 120 minutes. You can dim either 50% or full 100%. The most important part is to label the remotes to keep them separate from the many other remotes I have like these for other light sets. Without the remote, you are dead in the water with these sets. You cannot control them without a remote. Not the best quality. Not the worst. How much will you handle them so I consider that a moot point. ... show more

I ordered the AIBOO E26 Screw in Puck Lights with Remote. What a novel idea! I have purchased standard puck lights before to do "the puck light trick" in light sconces. I never knew that screw in puck lights existed--so, this is brilliant! They work very well, as do the remotes. They only thing that you need to take into consideration is where you will be using these puck lights. I had intended to use them in certain light sconces, but the puck lights did not fit into the narrow sconce lightshade frame. I hadn't thought of this before. The AIBOO puck lights work great once you have found a good use case for them. These battery-powered puck lights are perfect for various non-hardwired wall sconces fixtures with E26/E27 bases. I intend these for my down lights for a book case. The battery-powered design is very convenient, as the puck lights are powered by 3 AA batteries (not included). I highly recommend using rechargeable batteries to avoid frequently replacing the batteries of the puck. What I love most about these puck lights is the stepless dimmable feature and the 3 color temperatures. The stepless dimmable feature allows me to meet my requirements for different brightness levels and color temperatures. There are two control options available for these puck lights – touch control and remote control. This makes it very easy to operate the lights and enjoy the multifunction of the puck lights for sconces. Finally, the installation process is very easy. All you have to do is install 3 AA batteries into the puck lights and switch them on. Then, simply screw the E26 puck lights into the non-hardwired wall sconces fixtures which are with E26 base and without light source. Overall, I would give these E26/E27 Screw In Base puck lights a 5-star rating! They are easy to install, convenient to use, and have excellent dimming and color temperature features. I love when you order something and it is way better than you thought! And that’s so with these lights. Really versatile with being able to use with a wired light or non wired or just as a basic push top puck light. It takes 3 AA batteries and comes with a remote. The lights are plastic but they are not flimsy. If you use this in a regular plug in lamp it works great with the remote so you don’t need to manually turn it on which for me that’s how I used it in my bedroom so now I don’t need to get out of bed to switch the light off just use the remote. Which the remote comes with the batteries installed. The lights have 3 different lighting effects. The remote makes this light dimmable and also it has a timer. I wanted to have these for all those hardwire s sconces that I wouldn’t normally be able to use for lack of wiring in the walls. They come with remotes which makes it convenient and easy. Many to work with. You just have to confirm it will fit in the scones properly either with a shade or something that covers the puck. Haven’t used just yet but I’m very familiar with the idea. I'm turning a spare room into a library to hold our book collection, and I thought some decorative sconces would be nice mounted above the shelves I'm building. I don't want to mess with running the wiring myself, and I don't want to pay an electrician to do it since the lights won't be used often enough to justify the cost. These puck lights solve my problem nicely. They will screw right into the new fixtures, and as long as I don't choose sconces with clear glass shades, no one will be able to tell that I'm using puck lights. The remote control allows me to choose warm, neutral, or cool light, and to select the degree of brightness.
