The 110 lb. Push broadcast spreader is ideal for all-season use as a fertilizer spreader in the summer or an ice melt spreader in the winter. This spreader offers a wide 10-Foot Spread, dependent on the material used and speed of application this spreader can cover 17,500 sq ft which is roughly a 1/3rd of an acre. This spreader comes with and enclosed gear box, 12” x 4” Pneumatic tires and an easy-to-read adjustable flow stop ensures the spreader puts out only as much material as you request for minimal fertilizer waste & double coverage.     • Had to drill two holes to assemble.
When assembling the parts, two holes were missing where the main container attaches to the frame. I had to drill these holes. The spreader does in fact hold 110 lbs. of fertilizer, but unless you are a weight lifter, I suggest to hold to around 50 lbs. With 100 pounds in the spreader, it was all I could do to push it. Full disclosure, my yard is not level, going downhill was easy, going up was very hard. Adjusting the lever to get the proper amount of fertilizer to come out took a few tries before I got it right. Once I worked through all of the above problems, the spreader did a pretty good job. Except for the missing holes, the spreader is well built and should provide a long service life. ... show more

    • Cheap plastic controls and poor
I received broken, parts just tossed in a large shipping box all banging together. Plastic adjustable door tracks were damaged on the bottom of the hopper upon arrival, I used zip screws to fix. The cheap plastic handle controls are garbage and the control cable slips out of the retainer sometimes not opening the door at all. The stop for the numbered setting does not hold so don't count on using it for measuring how much fertilizer your putting down. It also seems to throw heavy on the right side more than the left. I would recommend a spreader with metal controls and better packaging. ... show more

The adjustment handle for the spreader is dirt cheap and does not adjust properly. it will dump the product on the ground before you can shut it off. Very disappointed for the money I paid.

I recently purchased 2 of these spreaders since I have a larger lawn and needed something with an expanded capacity, The 1st spreader arrived promptly but I quickly realized some of the assembly parts were missing. Purchased a 2nd spreader with the intent on returning the 1st. This one had all the parts needed to assemble, thankfully. Took it out for the initial use on Friday - 2 minutes in the handle for the control broke off. Since it was already set to the desired setting I decided to push on. Less than 5 minutes later part of the gear box fell apart. After 2 purchases it's probably time to try something else. ... show more
