My daughter has autism and swings ALOT. I bought a swingset but she wears-out the swings very quickly. We went through about 4 or 5 until I purchased this one. She is very particular about the way a swing feels and this one is very strong, but comfortable. We keep it outside in South Texas heat/rain weather and it hasn't worn AT ALL over many summers. Highly recommend. Worth the money.

For years ive been squeezing my mom butt onto swings and pretending its totally normal for the sides to dig into your hips. I cant testify to this swings longevity yet, but it feels solid and well made. I took it for its first rip tonight and it was a lovely ride. No pain. Only comfort & joy.

This swing seat is rated to hold up to 660 pounds. That is with the appropriate chains and swing set. We haven't put it to the 660 pound test, but we have had about 275 pounds combined weight with two people. Well, it worked and is still in one piece. We also purchased the Fully Coated Chain 66 Inch Long ( Fully Coated Chain 66 Inch Long + 4 Free Quick Links on Both Sides in Yellow Waterproof Chain Swingset Seat, Baby Swing, Toddler Swing, Trapeze Bar Playground Equipment Chain, Jungle Gym 2 (1 Pair) (Free Priority Shipping in Continental Usa) because they are heavy duty, not the weaker chains that came with the swing set. While the seat is a hard plastic, it was comfortable enough for this adult to swing on. We installed this on a large wooden swing set and it works great. Recommend this product for adults that want to swing as the generic swing and chains that come with most swing sets will NOT hold more than about 160ish pounds. For safety, get the properly rated equipment to keep everyone safe. I pride myself on being honest and providing as much detail and information as I can based on my experience with the product. This is a Christmas present but won't be used until spring as there is snow where I live. Seems heavy duty and that is what I was looking for but I thought I would clarify the measurements (see photos). Basically it is 30 inches long but that measurement is from the tips of the metal brackets lying flat. The actual seat area is 24 inches long and almost 6 inches wide and it says it holds 660 pounds. As long as metal brackets stay solid and in place I see no issue with the size or quality of this swing. I gave 4 stars because rating is not for use so I cannot comment on that and also listing not completely clear about measurements.

Bought this product to replace the swing seat that comes with PACEARTH and similar swing kits found on amazon. The seat that came with the previous set was very uncomfortable even for somebody who is relatively small. This seat is significantly more pliant and comfortable. It is a little thicker than a standard park swing and doesn't bend as easily. It was mildly uncomfortable when I first installed it because of the V shape it took in the box, but my solution was simply to install the seat upside down so that it was a ^ shape instead of a V shape on the chain. After a few uses it conformed to a comfortable U shape. I'd recommend this seat over the thicker, less comfortable ones that are all over the site. I used this seat, and while I'm a relatively small adult, I'd label it as "just big enough" for me. Any child or small to medium sized adult could probably use this seat comfortably, but it might be a bit tight for somebody who is larger or more broad than I am.
