When I was young and working on my degrees, I worked in a well-known jewelry store. I love diamonds; but, I don't love their price. I was introduced to Moissanite years ago while working at this store and loved the sparkle. The fact that they are chemically like diamonds helped me to understand why their characteristics were similar. Even though I have a few pairs of diamond studs, I wanted some different size options. I purchased the 2-carat (1-carat per earring) to wear as my daily studs. They came well packaged with all advertised. The certificate was a plus! I would agree that most women would love to have them as a gift. I bought myself a second pair this week as a "gift" to me. The tension backs are comfortable and the earrings do not feel heavy in my ear. They are noticeable and not at all overpowering to the eye. They add just the right amount of glitz to any outfit. My only wish is that they were white gold and not silver. I may pay to have them reset due to an allergy. ... show more
