I bought this ice machine when our ice maker in our freezer broke and have been very happy with it. I usually just turn it on it the morning and let it run an hour or so to fill up our waters for the day with ice. If you plan to fill bags for the freezer it will slightly freezer together in a block but I just put it in a gallon ziploc bag and then pound it (with a rolling pin or something) and it breaks apart nicely, I’m then able to add it to my ice dispenser so we also have it on hand anytime we need it. I find the extra effort worth it because I love the texture of the ice and it is so satisfying to just scoop it out when it’s made fresh. I’ve had it a couple months and working great.

This is perfect for crunchy, edible ice. Freezer ice maker went out and love eating ice so this gave me the best of both worlds. I wish the new was a way to fill both sides of the basket as it will fill the one side and say it’s full while the other side of the basket is empty. It can also be noisy at times but power off, let it sit and then power on and it fixes itself. It has to do with the ice built up and how is crushes it- the friction at times is noisy when something is a a bit “off.” I hope it last because for the price it is well worth it!

This ice maker is exactly what I was looking for. the ice pebbles are chewable and JUST like Sonic ice. Something I would never think I would’ve purchased because I have an ice machine in my freezer, but my husband has recently gotten very sick and he practically lives on “ice chips” And I got tired of using the food processor to grind up ice all the time. This machine is perfect for anybody that might have a sick relative that also relies on ice chips a bunch like my hubby. Furthermore it is travel friendly as it comes with a handle and the convenient scoop! The machine is not very loud. I leave it on top of our mini fridge and there’s plenty of space the ice maker’s footprint is quite small. All in all I totally recommend this ice maker!

I’m so glad I purchased this icemaker. Exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use and the clean feature is great. Once the ice is made though you need to use it right away or put in your freezer. The top area where the ice is located doesn’t stay cold enough for storage and the ice will melt.

Our 13yr old fridge ice-maker went out and this small counter top unit has replaced it. It takes 4-6 hours to make a bag full of ice but with just 2 of us we only run it 2-3 times a week. I like the small pebble size.

At first, this felt like an unnecessary splurge. However, after almost a month of owning and using it daily- I don’t want to live without it. It starts producing ice within minutes of it being filled and keeps turning them out for hours. It’s quiet. There’s a low hum but nothing disruptive or obnoxious. EASY to clean! Every night we drain the water out of the tank and the lines by removing the plug at the bottom. It has a self cleaning feature that runs water through the lines to flush out any build up. You won’t be able to fill up a cooler or anything with this. But if you’re looking for some crunchy ice that’s perfect for snacking, frozen drinks, water bottles, or slushies - this is a great buy. I bought one for my father in law that loves chewing on ice and he loves it.

I wanted nugget style ice without breaking the bank. This little machine does a great job. It shipped fast and was well packed. I run it for a few hours at a time and end up with enough ice for about 8 drinks. IMO it is quiet, just a little hum. You do need to mind it a lot. It is not a freezer so dumping the ice frequently is a must as it melts during production. This also causes the ice to freeze together when you put it in the freezer. I find that when using a large clump of the nuggets they end up separating when liquid hits them so the result in your glass is how it should be. Overall for the price I'm happy with the purchase.

Good Parts: Price is affordable. Small footprint (similar to bullet ice makers) Unfortunate Part: this for some reason was delayed almost a week, held at a nearby location and wasn't given a firm answer; pickup was Amazon Fresh location Contemplation Parts: I wasn't expecting the same nugget ice as you see at Sonic, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, etc, but I don't like the bullet ice cubes either. I was hoping I didn't have to turn on the ice machine, answer emails and make breakfast before prepping my iced coffee. I couldn't imagine this being used at a party. To run the reservoir out, I think it took about an hour? This filled a 24 oz hydroflask and a bonne maman jar (the 13 oz size) to their brims. To visualize how it's made before your purchase, it's like an extruding pasta machine. Water is being frozen while being pushed up through the die and a small arm knocks the ice. This is what affects it's speed IMO and that's understandable. I wanted to love this but if you're a single person working from home, this could be for you... if you're not expecting fast results. I contemplated putting this on a smart plug but that seems a bit much just to time making ice! I think I just want more out of my machine. Note this was it's first-time operation.
