I've had quite a few CAI on cars and trucks. This AFE CAI works great, is easy to install, looks good, sounds good and feels well built. My mpg has stayed about the same but it may be because I'm listening to the turbos. My shift points when driving slowly and calmly are quite a bit lower. My 2020 f150 3.5eb will happily chug around town , shifting before 1500rpm and cruise below 1100rpm at city speeds. One particular rd I'm on a lot is 35mph so everyone drives 42ish. My truck will always upshift to 9th and put-put along at about 1058rpm (I have dual tachs due to OBD monitor). We have a rd trip coming up with no towing so I'll update with highway mpg. ... show more

Let me start by saying I am a plumber by trade, NOT a mechanic. With my toolbag out of my work truck, I had this install done in 45 minutes... taking my time might I add. Directions honestly aren't the most straight forward but they pointed out a few key points you need to know. I have a lift, 35" tires, a bullydog performance chip, full borla exhuast, and now this stage 2 intake on my 2018 Ford raptor. All I can say is wow, the difference is very noticeable. The sound difference is barely noticeable without new exhuast. I ran the truck with the new intake with my stock tune & the performance tune... both ways you have noticeable gains. Product was straight forward to install however the metal bracket that’s supposed to clip to the bottom half of the stock air box doesn’t fit at all. I attempted several different install methods and it didn’t fit at all. Everything else fit without issue.

I really like this intake on my 2020 F-150 FX4. The instructions that it came with were a little hard to follow but I also looked it up on youtube. The installation took me about an hour as I wanted to make sure I was doing it right. The sound of the turbos are great. Also, I have noticed that I have gained about 1.5mpg and the acceleration in Sport Mode is much better. I would definitely recommend this mod. ... show more

Installed this bad boy yesterday, OMG, 5.8 secs 0-60mph on a half-ton truck... That is insane. This bad boy was easy to installed by my 17 y.o. son with zero mechanical knowledge, it's a simple unplug, then plug and play. First turn on the truck noticeably sounding different, when gassed, you hear a rush of air. Took it on the road instantly feeling different, so I turn on my race meter.. OMG, That's a dry, first run, (17 y.o. driving) no tricks. No shifting, no sports mode, just simply normal everyday driving mode. Now I can't wait to see what happens when I turn on all the trick setting on this truck. ... show more
