I was pleasantly surprised. This ice maker actually performs as advertised. In fact, my wife and I are using more ice now than before when our "in-frig" ice maker was functioning. That piece of junk "in-frig" ice maker did us a favor by dying. I love the nugget size and that each nugget is fairly soft so one can chew on it without tooth issues AND it makes for better beverages ... it cools liquids faster. We use only filtered water in it and once it starts pumping out the ice, it is a lot. However, when the container is full, the machine automatically shuts down until such time the ice either has melted or is dispensed. Also convenient is when the water supply is too low ... an alert light goes off to let you know "why" no more ice is being produced.

Finally a ice maker that has the self cleaning! And perfect nugget size. I used to have a basic one but it would get gross so fast. This one has a cleaning feature so we just do this once a week and we have fresh ice at all times. It’s not too loud, makes the ice pretty fast. It makes our drinker super cold immediately and has that yummy crunch after your done with your drink. Love the light feature, that way when I get my nightly ice I can see. The buttons are flush with the design, just looks so high end.

Easy to use , quiet and fits on counter top perfectly . You have to go through a process of cleaning with first ice making but after that , it makes ice quickly and it is definitely a bonus to our tropical Tiki drinks

Absolute piece of junk, didn't last one day. It sounded like internal components were having a melt down. The first one I had lasted only six months (Stopped making ice). I opened it up and saw rust forming on some of the tubing.

One star off for the confusing initial setup and noise, otherwise great! The initial cleaning is not well represented. There's 2 hoses you need to disconnect to drain the water. Its not well represented in the instructions. The noise is louder than my fridge (like a fan on medium). The ice is perfect and great for drinks . I wish there was a better storage option for the scoop (there's no storage). It is compact and fits on my countertop. The design is super simple and the light actually works for a kitchen night light. Overall, I really like the ice it produces and the speed it produces it. Its a heavy unit (almost 20lbs!). I would recommend this product because it makes perfect nugget ice quickly.

This thing is LOUD, and it gets jammed if you let it run 24/7, so that's why I'm rating it 3 stars. Also, I'm not an ice connoisseur, but I think the ice is a little harder than it should be for pebble ice? I was a little disappointed when tried it for the first time. But again, I'm not sure how experienced I am with pebble ice. To me it doesn't seem like the ice that everyone fawns over. My family was excited for the first few days, but I'm not sure if anyone is actually using it anymore. My son set it up, so I'm not sure where the original packaging is. If I can find the box and instructions and whatnot, I'll probably return it. It does make ice very quickly, which is great.
