I never give 1- star reviews but this made me feel absolutely robbed. Total scam. Might fit 3 miniature chickens but not 3 well fed American birds. It's not as big as advertised, it's10 inches smaller than specs on the run alone. The quality of wood is laughable and the picture shown has much bigger wood than what this comes with. They use pathetic 1x.75 wood that came warped and with the tiny hardware that's not likely to last one year. This wood will rot in one wet season if you do not build a stand or create a gravel base around the edges, which means you still have to buy fencing or chicken wire for under the stand you have to build for this terribly made product. Very poorly made. It's also not going to keep a neighborhood cat, let alone a bigger predator from huffing and puffing and blowing this thing down. Will be building my own, using this as a 1:2 scale with better wood and big boy hardware. An issue I cannot get past is that I built this on a perfectly level surface and it was all so warped it wasn't plum anywhere. Even though they predrilled it, if you line up the holes you end up at about 87 degree corners. The ladders... almost forgot, the worst part is that the wheels (one of the reasons i bought this one) don't roll this thing unless you hold it like 4ft off the ground and when you lift it that high, the ladder gets caught in the bottom and easily breaks off the tiny ledge. So get prepared to rebuild a ladder if you ever move it. Also, highly doubt this will keep my chickens alive one night of our mild Virginian winter. Gaps everywhere. Should've given 0 stars now that I think about it. Save yourself time and money and save your chickens the embarrassment of living in a terribly made tiny house. Truly disappointed. ... show more

Received the coops recently. The Pros -Fun to build -Big enough to use as a breeding pen for small number of birds or as a grow out coop for babies. Could add more birds if the coop is attached to a bigger run. I am considering setting up multiple runs and rotating use with these coops to prevent mud. -Birds always have green grass -its a beautiful coop - I don’t think rats will be able to get in if its on even ground. -owls can no longer snatch my birbs The cons -The coop broke on first day of use. The ramp is tiny with small screws. My chickens are not small. They broke it right away, but they easily hop in and out with out it. Planning on using these as grow out coops for babies at some point so I will add the ramp back when its used for babies. The frame also broke right away because I had to move it on uneven ground. It wasn’t severely uneven by any means but its still too wet out for me to level the ground for these coops. The frame busted off near the tires. It generally small and not very sturdy. Doesn’t come with a roost Picture shows the roofs open, but they don’t unless you unscrew it. That actually really bums me out because its going to make feeding/ watering a lot more difficult than I planned. Solutions and tips Use better screws for handle and ramp. Use stainless steel zip ties to add support to frame and wire mesh. I am not sure if that would make it fully predator proof but it might (other than digging) Use on even ground. Keep it away from goats. Mine want to get on it they are minis but one would definitely break it. If you add it to a run, place it outside the run so it stays clean🙂 ... show more

Stated to fall apart within a week painting the fake wood and the latching on all of it are bent and don’t close . Difficult to open doors . We have had to practically re built it , nothing fits and the staples used to hold the screens all came off. And it leaks. I feel cheated

    • Falls Apart
The wood is cheap and hinges are not strong enough to handle the job from normal use. I only started using it 3 weeks ago. The ramp hinges came off first, then the door hinges to the nesting area. Finally, last night the entire bottom fell out. It scared my girls so much that I found them huddled in a corner of the run as far away as possible. Don’t bother with this one. Cheaply made, no door to the coop from the running board, no perches, and practically breaks almost every time we attempt to move it. We asked for a replacement, which they took forever to send, and they said we'd be able to return the first one when we were able and they'd accept it. I love the look of this coop and it's a decent size for my 6 chickens. However, trying to move it is next to impossible. I broke the bottom edge just trying to roll in the yard. My husband is trying to make adjustments to the wheels and we're considering using different ones. As the instructions provide, the wheels are so tight against the coop they'll only roll on hard surfaces, but not grass. We hope it to get it moving since that was the main reason for the purchase. ... show more

While this is a cute design the product is poor quality and poor craftsmanship. While putting together the first one it broke while screwing the pieces together. They were nice enough to send me another and the same thing happened and the roof flew off with high winds that we get in our valley. Now I am out the money as they will not refund me, and I have no house for my birds. ... show more
