If you’re looking for an alternator that lasts for two days, this is the alternator for you. Now I’m having trouble getting a refund and I’ve already sent the part back. Save you’re time and energy and spend a little more for an alternator that actually works.

    • Works well for Scion Xb Gen 1
I just put this in after some wrangling since the old unit had seized bolts, This WAI unit from China works well & my Scion headlights have returned to more robust illumination. The original Denso, which are normally good units, seemed to have had a failed bearing, & now the engine sounds a lot smoother with no belt squeal. Both The Scion Xa, Xb are a little challenging to put one of these in, since there are items mounted in front of the alternator, I recommend watching a few install videos if you are not knowledgeable. ... show more

it looked USED and was a return. NOT at all satisfied ! wasted $150 for labor, damaging my battery as it reads 16.4 V another week wasted to wait for another one and another $150 of labor to put it in. whoever said it takes 20 minutes to put it in is a dang LIE! no way without lifting the motor up to get that stubborn bottom bolt out, 15 min. just to take out the front wheel, mud guard, car lifted up alone. ... show more
