After seeing the price of this harness, I didn't want to buy it, but after having bought 4 other harnesses on amazon that were all garbage and a waste of 25 bucks, I decided the price might mean this was worth it. This is the best Bari sax harness out there, I'm a student and I've used my sax heavily every day for the past two years and this thing finally broke, it wasn't because of poor quality or anything like that, i just carry my sax a lot and move it around on the harness a ton. It didn't snap or anything, the metal bit keeping the clip on just got worn out after years of concerts and traveling, but I can assure you that this is the best harness on the market, I'm upset that mine broke but from now on this is the only harness I'll ever be buying because i don't want to use any other harness than this one, its so comfortable an takes all the weight, i can play all day in this harness and i have. I hope this review helps you make up your mind because i don't want you to have the same experience i had with all the other ones.

This is a very nice harness. I use it with a bari sax. It is sturdy and I am mostly comfortable while wearing it, aside from when the suspender attachment doesn’t want to stay attached to my jeans/pants. Overall a great product just wish the suspender pieces were stronger or designed differently so they’d stay in place.

Great invention. Awesome design. But my 12 yr old grandchild is so petite we couldn’t make it small enough to fit her but I’m giving it a five star for design and craftsmanship. Great product. Wish they had a child size.

I play baritone saxophone and a shoulder harness is the only way to go! The one I was using was wearing out, so I ordered this to try it. It comes with a clip in the back to hook to the waistband of your pants, and I did not use it, but maybe I needed to because it would tend to slide down in the front, and I was often readjusting the strap to where I wanted it. I think it should work without that clip, because what if you wear a dress, overalls, or wear it over your uniform jacket - what are you going to clip it to? I will give this five stars because it is well-made and comfortable and easy to put on, but I did end up giving it away to a fellow section member because I was tired of readjusting as mentioned above..

A metal part broke away from the clasp and their my daughter's saxophone dropped to the ground, creating a couple hundred dollars worth of damage. I'm not seeing any type of warranty, which is garbage. Don't buy this!

I've had trouble with neck and shoulder stress and pain. I've tried several straps/harnesses to alieviate that stress. This one did it. The big difference is the strap in the back that clips to the rear side of the belt line. This transferes the force over the shoulders to the trousers, there is no "forward pulling" force. That said I did replace the original clips, which were too flimsy. I bought a set of suspenders and attached those clips. Very satisfied after this mod. It does take a bit getting used to the set up. Once adjusted I leave the right side front clip attached and slip it over, attach the left clip, and then attach the back side clips. Now I can focus on fine tuning those chops rather than the discomfort.
