I'm a total amateur; so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. The strap that came with my sax is not adjustable and doesn't quite fit; so I got this one. This one adjusts pretty well. It is easy to adjust it so it can fit over my head and then easy to adjust to get it to playing position. It holds its position after it is adjusted. It should last as long as I need it.
