I bought this hoping that it would work with my new Switch Lite. Since the Switch Lite doesn't have a dock or stand, I wanted something like this that would serve both needs. Since this is advertised as Switch only, because it first came out in 2017, it was a wait and see. It works perfect and charges perfect too. I have it sitting up on this charger right next to my original Switch, side by side, and they look awesome next to each other. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to for a stand and charger for their Switch Lite. I would have liked it to be a little bigger and I thought that the stand took the place of the switch dock and once you placed it on the stand it would switch over to TV mode. My fault for not reading description better.

Honestly, there are just so many different ways you can play with the Nintendo Switch. It has shown to be the most versatile and unique video game system on the market in years. Nintendo definitely has outdone itself in regards to getting people to come and play together again. Especially after the lagging drive the Wii U was able to show. But in regards to the Nintendo Switch, there are so many different ways that you can play the video game system, as a hybrid console: at home or on-the-go. But when you want to play it as a tabletop system, you would need a sturdier stand. The small stand that came with the Nintendo Switch doesn't work that well. Which is why you would need to purchase a better stand. This charging stand for the Switch, is easy-to-setup and charges as you play with others. It works well in tabletop mode, and it doesn't feel like it is as a strain on the controllers or you worrying about losing power while you play your favorite Switch games like Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate or Super Mario Party.
