The media could not be loaded. These chairs were so easy to put together. The very first one i put together is defective. It is wobbly and i built them all the same. The other three are perfect. They are stable and work really well. The style is pretty modern, very chic and subtle. I was worried about the stability because we have toddlers that like to use them and they have held up nicely. Have not tipped over nor do they act like they will. They are the perfect weight for movement and for staying in place. They don't feel cheap at all either. The seat itself is a soft leather. I have noticed which is neither good nor bad you need to be sitting in the seat to make the seat go back down, it's pretty difficult to lower the seat by just pulling the lever and pushing on the seat. All in all happy with my purchase and honestly although I'm a little disappointed in the defective one, it is what it is and I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. It seems as though once you put the chair together it is held by a locking mechanism and can't be taken apart. I have not tried to contact customer care to see if there is anything they can do either. If I decide to do that I will follow up on my review. ... show more

These chairs are awesome! I just moved into a brand-new home with a huge island and I was looking at a ton of chairs over the course of a few days. These barstools are EXTREMELY uncomfortable to sit down. The seat is so short that, unless you have very short legs, your legs will hurt after just a few minutes of seating. I would like to return them, but disassemble them is very hard, and packing everything in the small box they came in, is almost impossible. I am stuck with these extremely uncomfortable, and therefore useless for me, barstools... Save your money.. DO NOY BUY! ... show more
