I bought this ADISTAR 16” electric bike for my teenager to use for school, riding around with friends, and everyday commuting, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. After looking at a lot of electric bikes for teens and adults, this one stood out because of the long battery range, strong motor, compact size, and overall value for the price. The bike arrived well packaged and assembly was much easier than expected. Most of it was already pre-assembled, so setup was quick and straightforward. My teenager was able to start riding it the same day without any issues. I also really like that the battery is removable, which makes charging much more convenient. The ride quality is excellent. The bike feels stable, smooth, and comfortable even on rough neighborhood roads and sidewalks. The seat is well cushioned, the handlebars feel secure, and the overall frame feels sturdy and durable. It does not feel cheaply made at all. The 1500W peak motor has plenty of power for daily commuting and hills, while still feeling safe and easy to control for younger riders. One of the biggest reasons we chose this electric bike was the battery life, and it definitely delivers. The 48V 15.6Ah battery lasts much longer than expected, even with frequent daily use. My teenager rides it to school, around town, and on longer weekend rides, and we rarely have to recharge it. The long-range performance is impressive and makes this e-bike extremely practical for everyday transportation. I also appreciate the multiple riding modes and adjustable speed options because it allows for a more controlled and comfortable riding experience. The brakes respond well, the tires grip nicely, and overall it feels very safe and reliable. This is my honest review after putting 80 miles to the test. This thing is actually surprisingly well made and holds up to what it was described to do. The matte black looks great and the battery can go for quite a while on one charge. I got this to replace my broken down car to get to work and it is very agile and easy to handle. It easily does 28MPH as advertised, and it seems to want to go faster but the limiter will stop you before you do. The ONLY thing I would nitpick would be the headlight, but that can easily be replaced with an extra purchase and the fact my headlight mount is a little bent from shipping. Fits in the garage easily and takes up no space either. Overall if you want a fun and reliable way to get somewhere this thing is the best option for the price. ... show more

Nice street legal bike for my 6th grader to ride around the neighborhood. We had an issue with the throttle not kicking in unless you pedal the bike first, which wasn’t happening at first but started after about a week. Manufacturer sent a new throttle and motor to try.

My experience with the bike has been challenging a little bit. I’m an independent single mom fixing on a bike for my young son with no experience of fixing on a bike. I had issues with back tire blowing out, and bike stopping in the middle of riding. So I had to change tire and tube for first time by myself and using videos to teach me. I have insurance on bike but the tire wasn’t covered under warranty or insurance. The stopping in middle of riding was covered through you all sending me parts to solve that issue. The bike is back up a running, overall it’s been a solid good quality bike, it rides nice and looks stylish. Things just can happen when a semi ruff young boy riding it. Honestly really impressed with this e-bike. The suspension is super smooth and makes a big difference on bumpy roads.
