Description

A sleek light walnut tripod base suits a variety of settings from contemporary, rustic, transitional to loft style. The legs attach to a metal disc that supports the socket and white textured linen shade for easy assembly. Overall height is 63 in. and the tripod base has a 17 in. footprint. A sleek, decorative brown fabric covered cord hangs down from the socket. A three-way rotary switch on the socket controls a bulb up to 150 Watts or an equivalent CFL. The 3-way rotary socket switch will only work with a 3-way light bulb; otherwise this lamp will function with simple on/off switch at its highest setting. This lamp is smart outlet compatible. Gorgeous. Second one we bought, 5 years later. Love the design - very earthy. Came well packed. 3 way light bulb needed 👍 Stabile after installed. Installation took 2 steps. Initial step is attaching legs to circular light bulb dish is a balancing act one person can do by themselves or a woman can do while applying makeup, probably. What a great looking floor lamp. I have received several compliments. Easy to assemble. Go to a big box hardware store and get a pack of stick on plastic hooks to help hide the cord by running behind one of the legs. Lamp arrived with a damaged shade which Adesso immediately replaced so I didn’t have to send the whole thing back. Nice. ... show more

Nice design, poor execution: two of the three wooden legs have flaws in the finish ( an un-stained spot on one, a glob of too-much varnish on another). The color of the wood is not as pictured, it's more of a gray-brown than the rich brown in the photo. The shade does not come down far enough to conceal the metal plate into which the legs are bolted (which was kind of tricky to assemble too), and the plate has the made in China and UL stickers on the bottom side so they are visible when sitting and looking up at the lamp. Giving 2 stars because if it wasn’t broken, the quality seems good and I really like the style / look of this. Also it’s expensive so you expect it to show up in good shape. Lampshade arrived broken and it causes it to severely slant / droop when on the lamp.

Loved this lamp for well over a year! The style was fantastic and it perfectly complimented the room. Though, it was very fragile/unsturdy and did not withstand living in a house with two boys and a puppy. We were constantly fixing the legs as they didn't have enough stable structure to stay together. Eventually broke for the last time and was beyond repair. It’s a very cool looking lamp, though a bit quirky at first to set up. We had purchased one before through a famous department store that rhymes with ‘spacey,’ and that lamp had a minor defect in the precut screw/holes. This made setting up the lamp precarious, at best. BUT we loved the lamp SO much that I looked up the lamp on Amazon and found it ( for a much cheaper price compared the the department stores price—go Amazon!). Well built lamp. The only downside is they are somewhat top-heavy and the base does not spread out very far. If you have animals in your house there is a good chance one of these will get knocked over as ours did. The way it is built, with the lamp connected to the bulb receptacle, there is a good chance it will break when it falls - as ours did. On the plus side - the company (Adesso) is awesome to deal with. I just sent pictures of the broken part intending to buy a new part and they shipped me a new lamp. ... show more
