Overall, the lamp is fantastic and the base is very heavy, however it's not 72" tall like described. It's maybe 6inches shorter than I thought. Doesn't come with lightbulbs but it really lights up the room

I put this together easily, was glad for that! I put in bulbs but they were like neon lights, very unpleasant. Changed the bulbs to soft white and got a nice, more sun-like light. The only problem is, it's just not bright enough. I will have to work to see if I can get LED lighting that is not like neon, and change at least some of the bulbs. If one uses soft white 25 watt bulbs, be prepared for a very soft, dim light. ... show more

The pole securely scews in to a hole in the base so the lamp is very sturdy but the bottom of the base is not flush with the floor and wobbles. The lamp is also much shorter than the 72" advertized. It's about 60" from the bottom of the base to the top of the metal arms and 68" max height fully assembled. The arms are shorter than my old Medusa lamp from Lumisource, which was disappointing, but the pole on my old Lumisource lamp broke off because of inferior base attachment compared to the Adesso lamp. If Adesso only made this lamp a little taller and with longer arms it would be great. ... show more

This lamp was extremely easy to put together my two year old could probably do it herself. And with the settings I have basically the perfect lighting ratios. The first setting is soft enough for my husband to work on his puzzles while I sleep and the brightness setting could like my whole living room, dinning room, and kitchen with ease. This lamp can be used in a wide range of applications. I bought this light fixture for use in my plant room. I had need of a standing lamp with arms that I could position to direct light where needed that can be controlled by a single light timer. The arms on this lamp are flexible and allow for a wide range of angles. The labeling says it can support 60 watt "type A" bulbs or 13 watt CFL. It does not say anything about LED wattage, but I have installed 15 watt LED bulbs and don't see any issues with it. Assembly was simple. The base is sturdy and heavy so the lamp should not easily tip over. The plastic diffusers can be removed entirely if you don't want them, or can be removed for cleaning if they were to become dirty. Upon my assembly and installation of bulbs, when I first powered the lamp on I was blinded by the intensity of 5 100-watt equivalent daylight LED bulbs I am using (not included). My immediate impression was that this lamp would be a great option for streamers and vloggers and such, without having to spend a fortune on expensive lighting fixtures. A mixture of daylight, warm, and colored bulbs could be installed to give whatever lighting effect the streamer desired. I would imagine you can even install wifi-controlled bulbs into the sockets if you want to get extra fancy. ... show more

Love the way you have three options of how many bulbs you want on. Very easy to assemble. However the top base was wobbly, and so was the bottom base. Whenever we walked passed it, the whole lamp shook, even the top part holding the lamps, causing the lamps to sway. We have hard wood floors so it wasn’t carpet causing this. Also it is very short. I’m 5’7 and when standing at it, the lights were right in your face. One of my lamp shades was also cracked. If the two parts could be fixed with the unsteadiness, and a little taller, this would be perfect. The lamp was actually nice. ... show more
