I liked the look of this lamp online. It was rated well and we needed an arc lamp in our living room due to the very high ceiling and no overhead lighting in the room. So it lights up the living area pretty well. The only thing is, the lamp shade is cheap looking. I had no issues figuring out the construction without reading the badly worded instructions. It takes some thought but most adults should be able to put it together without much trouble. I just wish it was a little better quality.

Very attractive lamp. The base is very heavy so no worries about tipping. It is quite tall, so if you have it by a couch you can see the bulb, which is a bummer. I ordered a shade filter, but it would have been nice if it already had it.

I saw this lamp at Hom Furniture, but in a different shade color. I checked out the manufacturer’s website and found I could order it on Amazon with a grey shade. I got the lamp this week and assembled the base, which was pretty easy to do. Unfortunately, after I unwrapped the shade, I noticed tears to the interior white lining. When the lamp is lit, the tears show thru to the exterior. There’s no way to position the shade so you can’t see the tears. I’d rate this lamp a 5, but the shade is damaged and needs to be replaced. UPDATED REVIEW - I reached out to Adesso Home to ask if they had a process for replacing damaged lamp shades. Diane Hudson asked for the measurements of the shade that was damaged and said they would send another one. It arrived yesterday and it’s perfect! Because my issue has been resolved due to Adesso’s excellent customer service, I’m updating my review to reflect that I love the lamp and am glad I purchased it.

We are putting together our daughters nursery and chose this lamp for her room. It looks great. I put it on a dimmer to soften it up! Assembly was awkward. The pieces are all attached and you have to unfold and attach each piece. Follow the directions for sure. Small screws are easy to loose (there are two). We had to exchange our first lamp because the bottom pole rod would never fully tighten! Second one worked out great !! We really love it.

I really love this lamp. It's stylish and brings a lot of light into my living room. The flaw it has is that the joint just below the switch is off a bit. The pipes don't fit together perfectly. I tried over and over to put it together so it wasn't wonky, but then I figured out that it wasn't me but the lamp itself. I loved the lamp so much I kept it but there's always a part of me that is a little bothered and disappointed that it's a little off.

The lamp is nice however I was disappointed that it is not a 4 way switch as indicated in description. I chose this lamp because I wanted to be able to have different light levels. Could have gotten a cheaper model if just wanted on and off. Repackaging everything is too much of a hassle but I’m disappointed in the lamp.

Love my floor lamp addition to my living room space. Assembly was relatively easy. Also like that you can tilt the lamp head upwards about 75 degrees or so. I adjust the direction of my floor lamp often and this makes the pole slightly loose but the base seems heavy enough to prevent the lamp from falling over. If the lamp shade is directly overhead from your chair/couch seating, you may bump into the lampshade when getting up - I’m 5’4” and sometimes bump into the shade (doesn’t hurt though)
