Form and Function
Size: Table Lamp
After spending hours and days searching online and in stores for attractive affordable lamps, I took a chance and ordered two of these for my nightstands. This pair provides symmetry and class in my otherwise eclectic furnished bedroom. I appreciate the flexibility of lighting for ambience and reading. The light is warm and cheerful or cozy as one desires. I was not about to spend a fortune at a high end store which now is charging additionally for a shade, for crying out loud! . The Boulevard lamp is adequate in construction. Not exactly heavy weight. Although it won't become a family heirloom, the style is classically simple and artistic and would be compatible in a variety of settings. The size is ample for a living room. In the bedroom it demands more than a wimpy size nightstand. Some might guess I spent more than I did on these lamps. The shades are white when the lamps are unlit; turned on, they appear a soft ivory. The order arrived in just a day or so (amazing) and was well packaged and in fine condition. Assembly was straight forward. I am happy with my purchase and the excellent service. Addendum: After using these lamps for a while I now notice that the column tilts ever-so-slightly. While others may not notice this, it annoys me and I wish I had not made the purchase because of this poor workmanship.

Well made, very attractive Lamp
Size: Table Lamp
This is a very attractive, tall metal lamp with dual lights; one of the things I really like about it is you can put an oversize bulb (like a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb) in the socket, and the bulb will fit with plenty of space between shade and bulb. Before I bought this, I noted other reviewers complained about damaged shades; my unit was shipped in two cardboard boxes (the outer box had a gash in it from transport, I guess), but the second box was unscathed. Also it was well packed inside with cardboard supports to prevent the shade from being crushed. It would take a lot to damage this in transport NOW. (Maybe in past it wasn't as well protected). The lamp is quite tall, 28 inches high, and it has a decently heavy 8 inch base. I have mine up very high in the room to provide light that my new ceiling fan and light doesn't provide and I bought an extension cord that has a switch in the middle of it to connect to the lamp so I won't have to pull the little chain switches down each time to turn it on and off. By using two LED bulbs that are equivalent to 100 watts each, you can get a lot of light for a small room for a pretty reasonable price. My wife (more discerning than me) also thinks it is attractive and throws out a lot of light. Oh, for those who want an American lamp, this isn't it; it is made in China (but the quality control on this product is very high). Oh, one more thing: there is some simple assembly required. You don't need any special tools; you just screw in the pieces and pull the cord through. It takes about 3 minutes, assuming you have some dexterity.

Great quality lamps, function well 7 years in.
Size: Floor Lamp
Bought these lamps in 2015, still a great purchase to date. One of the lamps never did assemble very well, so it's been a bit wobbly, but that only mattered if I was moving it around. The lamps look classy, and with smart bulbs, i get the ability to control brightness and operate them remotely. The minimalistic design ages very well and fades into the background. The lamps are a cool chrome metallic color, and with daylight / bright white lights, the shades will appear slightly offwhite. (I wrote this review, because i came back here several years later to buy the matching table lamps)

Nice lamp, but order with caution.
Size: Floor Lamp
This lamp will serve its purpose nicely. The base is heavy enough to stay in place. I like its contemporary style. Assembly was straightforward, though I needed a swipe of sewing machine oil to make the threads turn easily into place. I would caution customers about ordering this lamp. The box arrived smashed and torn open. The lamp was fine but the shade was damaged. Re-packing in the damaged box required a full roll of packing tape. So, off it goes; and let's hope they pack the replacement shade more carefully. Round two update. The replacement arrived, and the box was even more torn up. The shade was bent again, but by turning it to the wall in a corner, I can make it do. They sent not just a replacement shade, but the whole lamp. I'm done with this and can't recommend Adesso.

Love it overall. Shade damaged in shipment
Size: Floor Lamp
I like the looks of it, the pull chains, gives good light for sewing, etc. The box it came in was very old, soft, damaged. The lamp parts were fine but the shade was greatly damaged. I'm going to ask them to send me a new shade, but I do not want to disassemble, pack and sent it back. So we'll see what happens about the shade. They should have explained better about taking the finial apart, then putting the shade on and screwing it in.

Perfect for me!
Size: Table Lamp
This lamp is perfect for what I needed. I purchased 2 and use them on my nightstands. They are very well made. They were packed very well in double boxes. Lampshade was complete and did not need to be put together. Lamps were very easy to assemble....I didn't even look at the instructions they were that easy! I wanted lamps that took 100 watt bulbs as I have no overhead light in my bedroom and want it bright in there. Each lamp takes 2 100 watt bulbs. Pull chain turn on is great! You can have one or both bulbs on. Lampshade is big, I almost thought it would not fit in my space but it did. Be sure to look at measurement if you don't have alot of space. I searched for weeks for lamps and glad I found these!

WARNING: GIGANTIC LAMPSHADE!
Size: Floor Lamp
The lampshade is HUGE! I bought it for a small bedroom, and the lamp shade is way too big for the space. It might be okay in larger bedroom or a living room. The lamp is also much shorter than I expected, and the base is very thick. It's just an awkward size all around. Also, the power cord is quite short, so you need to place the lamp right next to an outlet or get an extension cord. It came undamaged and the quality seems fine. The lamp looks different than Amazon's photo- the lampshade is white, and the base is silver.

Looks great! ...
Size: Floor Lamp
I ordered this lamp with a bit of hesitation, based on the other reviews. The only complaint I have is that the packaging doesn't do enough to protect the lampshade, which arrived with a couple of dents. I was able to push them out, and they were near the seam, which I planned to cheat to the wall anyway, but still, there needs to be more packing material around the shade to protect it en route. These boxes get thrown around. Damage will happen. As for the base not fitting together as others have claimed, I had no problems. Perhaps they didn't get the threads started properly to begin with, but my base screwed together just fine and screwed together tightly enough that I can hardly see where the three pieces join each other. It's a great-looking lamp. The price was right. And with the capacity for two 100-watt bulbs, this baby throws off a lot of light. Recommended, for sure.
