    • Excellant at this price
Just received my ADE Advanced Optics RD3-006A green dot mini reflex and have mounted it on my Glock 19 gen 3. I received it quickly, on time for me anyway and in excellent packaging with, to my surprise, tools even though I wouldn’t need them. Someone, however, may. Very good idea. The dot is nice and bright and the controls, mounts and glass are all commensurate with a much pricier option. The dot loses its edge with the higher intensity settings. The green dot is sharp, bright but at the highest setting you get a halo starburst effect. No matter, I will probably not use that setting; there are a few other settings that are effective. This was very easy to install you want to try out a red dot before going to a more high-end piece, this will work and to Zero In. Best purchase I have made for the price and outstanding for what you get. ... show more

    • ADE green dot
What more can I say but you can't beat the price, durability, and function. This great little sight is just what I needed for my Canik tp9sfx. I own mostly Sig products and seems to be just as good as they are. Thanks for producing a quality sight at a affordable price.

    • Great entry level piece if you want to get to a RMR/Vortex
I have one on my pistol and one on my shotgun. Easy to install on the shotgun, wasn't so easy to install on my pistol but not due to the site. Please read my review on the pistol mount if you're interested in putting it on a pistol. Provides pretty good target aquisition but you won't use this for target accuracy. If you need to put lead on paper or steel fast with confidence you'll at least hit, this will work. I've only put a few rounds through it so I don't think I can comment on toughness but I'd say you get what you pay for. This isn't a RMR or Vortex but if you want to try out a red dot before going to a more high-end piece, this will work. ... show more

    • Works as well as any green (or red) dot sight - easy to accidentally hit the "Click Up" intensity button when racking
Works OK - front button will click up the green dot intensity when racking the slide if you're not careful to keep your hands away from the front of the unit. Use a laser boresight to set up POA or you will waste more ammo than the cost of the unit sighting it in. Took me quite a bit of practice using a red or green dot sight on a pistol without co-witness open sights. The dot is elusive without a reference and can get "lost in space". Once found, the dot is accurate, great to use, but getting there took me a while. Still undecided whether to keep it on my SP2022 or go back to the open sights, which are very accurate and line up without a fuss or a search, just like... open sights! ... show more

    • Fits very well
I wanted to install an optic sight on my Tarus PT809 pistol. There was no documentation on which sight would work with my PT809 pistol. I went with this model for the value. The Docter (Docter/Noblex mounting). allowed this fit right on and it looks really nice. I'm still setting it up, but adjustment looks fairly simple. Looking throught the sight the green dot seem very well lit. ... show more

    • First Shot Dead
I purchased the RD3-006 (4MOA Green Dot) in April this year but didn't get a chance to use it until October. Mounted on a TX 22 Competition the green dot worked fine until I took the first shot. Afterwards the green dot was no longer on and wouldn't come on even after installing a new battery. The "warranty" information directed me to send them $10 for S&H and instructing me to use sturdy packaging because they're not responsible for any damages incurred during shipment. No phone number or email address for communication prior to shipment. However, before jumping through any hoops I'll just chalk this one up to experience and take a loss because I don't have the time to wait on them to decide what to do. I'll choose a better name brand sight with a lifetime warranty instead of trying to save a little money on an off brand like this one. One star because I can't give zero stars. ... show more

    • Fantastic Optic
I waited awhile to make a review on this optic. It acceded my expectations but a big margin. I bought this to put on a 9mm SAR k2P. Holds zero, the dot is easy to see and despite me grabbing it to rack the slide the finish and glass hasn't been effected. If your looking for a budget friendly micro dot i suggest you try this one out. ... show more

    • Not cheap looking, arrived quickly, works perfect. Great price!
It got here quickly, was packaged good, has tools, cover, dial in scale tool, actual instructions, cleaning cloth. Sight is not cheap looking. Made from solid aluminum, green dot is clear and sharp, highest brightness setting is very bright and does have a slight "desert sun at noon" starburst. This doesn't bother me because I wont ever use it where I am. Wife likes it there for her use. I used It on a 22 pistol for competition 1" Disc, Steel tree, shooting. Went right on, adjusted easily, stayed on true the whole time for about 250 shots. Friends with higher end optics Liked it too. I do understand Chinese production and sometimes a bad one does get by, just like here. Always a gamble with online purchasing for sure. Friend got a broken U.S. made sight right out of the box for $500+ I'll get back after next time out with an update. ... show more
