None of the components feel cheap. When you assemble the lamp, be sure to use the nut on the bottom of the base for the last bit of tightening. I like this lamp. For the price it’s not bad. It’s very very simple and not much of a statement. But it’s also affordable. Previous to this lamp, I had a target floor lamp that cost me $90 and was wobbly. This one is a lot heavier and sturdier which I really appreciate. It looks exactly like the photos and could fit in a lot of different household aesthetics. I took off 1 star for 2 reasons. 1. The lamp is almost too bright. The LED light bulb it comes with is warm toned so I appreciate that, but it’s still very very bright (the review picture makes the light look a lot more cool toned than it is irl). 2. This is a beautiful floor lamp with a modern feel but very practical. The lighting is good and I was able to put together and feels sturdy. I mistakenly dropped the shade and the company was great and sent a replacement so I was very appreciative. I would buy again!

This was a practical purchase, but it also prompted me to buy similar table lamps. Love the style and it takes up less space than the old one. The only negative is: Where I have it I can’t easily reach the foot switch to turn it on and off, so I plugged it into a timer.

The media could not be loaded. I love how simple it is and beautiful! Building it was easy, everything came in tact. I believe I bought the regular gold color instead of brass gold because the brass looked weird and plastic to me! I like that there is the step light function and it’s clear so it keeps the aesthetic look of the lamp clean. It comes with a bulb and the glass fit on easily once I read the simple instructions.
