I got these today and was able to hang them up with some wall screws I bought on Amazon as well. I love how each socket can be hung on a hook. Great idea to be able to control the brightness/ timer with the controller. I actually made a bad estimate on size wise for my full patio. I have to purchase a new set for the remainder of my patio, no biggie. And that’s why I will buy the same item again! Now, about the lasting with the solar panel, it’s still unsure, since I just got them today but I hope they last long with the solar panel, since I placed it in a good area where the sun hits. ... show more

Lights are great outdoors especially on our pool structure in our backyard in the Arizona. The solar panel comes in handy with not really having any electrical outlets outside. The lights automatically come on at dusk and if we are outside swimming we can turn the lights on a brighter or dimmer mode. Although the lights come about 3 ft apart or so, it was easy to double back and space the lights in between each other. Definitely recommend this option. Absolutely love these solar string lights. I’ve tried many, and the light these give off is one of my faves so far! Best bank for your buck. They give a nice ambient light in an otherwise dark area at night. You don’t have to wait until it’s completely dark out for them to come on too, like some other brands. Depending on how much sunlight is available to charge them, will decipher how long they stay lit…but I think it’s a good amount of time. ... show more

I knew something was funny when it would flicker on and off when installing the first day.... Worked for 1 night and that's it. Later I determined that the issue is a bad connection for where the wire comes out of the solar panel module... waiting on a response from the manufacturer.... Update: fast response from manufacturer - replacing bad part! ... show more

I wonder whether it happened to anyone else or not, but it seems that my remote control does not fully operate. The buttons “Off”, “Soft” and “8hrs” are not responding to the pressing. Even the red led doe not turn on when I press those specific buttons. I wonder if a different remote can be shipped as replacement. That would be wonderful. ... show more

It would really be nice if a charging cord was included. You’re directed to charge it for 8 hrs with USB (or sun) but it was challenging to find a charger that fit. So far- 3 nights- I love these lights!!!
