In the winter months locking up all of the birds in the dark was awkward with flashlights or a single light I'd carry out. These give perfect illumination to work by. They've been out in snow, ice, wind and rain and seem very waterproof and durable. I'm back to purchase another set to use on the other side of the property. They were incredibly easy to install. The light isn't too bright. At least the owl perched over the coop didn't seem to mind them. We do turn them off once the birds are in at the moment. These lights bring me such joy every night! I love seeing them! The multiple brightness is a plus! I have had them for almost a year and I contacted the company because some of the bulbs have burned out. They asked me to check each burned out socket to ensure it was the bulb and not the socket. I emailed them back and they are sending new bulbs at no cost because they are under warranty. Customer service gets *****! These lights are perfect for my little patio area. The lights have different settings, but are not super bright on their brightest setting. They create good ambient lighting and aren't meant to light up the area, if that's what you're looking for. It also has a timer function; my lights come on about 8:30pm and stay on for about 3 hours.
