Love that it comes I'm a 100 ft 50ft each cord and the are shatter proof with five replacement bulbs if needed . Last year I did the whole draped-lights-over-the-patio thing for my wife. We both really loved it, but in the winter time, we had six or seven bulbs break. That won't be a problem with these since they are shatterproof, so it was already a big win for us. I do like that this is a 50 foot string --- last year I had four 12-foot strands linked together. These string lights are very pretty at night. This is probably the easiest and fastest way to turn a dark outdoor space into an inviting one. We strung these up around our RV carport. They do an excellent job lighting up the area at night, as well as making the space warm and cozy feeling. It's hard to go wrong with these lights for the price. Just check that the length and bulb density is good for the location. This set has 2-foot bulb spacing and overall length is 48ft from plug to plug. The color temperature of these is warm, but does seem slightly whiter than 2700k. Probably closer to 3300k if I had to guess. ... show more

I received these too late to use for an outdoor party, but no worries, they’ll be in full use next season! All bulbs fully lit up when plugged in. The filament is yellow tones, which makes the bulb not fully white light, but it is a warm light. I do like the hooks on each bulb, allowing extra securing to keep them safe. The bulbs seem tightly put together, as not to allow water to seep into the bulb. For a large area, I would invest of several strands to hand lazily, not in a tight line. The directions mention if the bulb does not light up, make sure it’s tightened. ... show more

I love these lights and have bought several more sets since placing this original order. They are bright, well-spaced, and the bulbs are large enough to give it that carnival light vibe. This last piece makes it ideal for summer nights on the patio all the way through to Halloween displays in the fall. I don't know how these would fare in the winter (especially up here in the northern states), and I don't plan on finding out. They will go into storage from January to March and reappear in the spring. These lights will make any space magical so, if you've been considering this old style string lights for your backyard, I highly recommend you give them a try. ... show more

Got these to replace a string of glass globe lights we've had on our deck for years (on which we have to keep replacing bulbs because... kids). These are plastic, but have the same look as the previous glass globe bulbs. I really like that they are LED bulbs, and although they are not "smart" lights on their own, they were super easy to connect to an outdoor smart plug so that I can turn them on and off with my Alexa. They're also fairly bright and emit "warm" light, which makes my deck look really inviting, even in the dead of winter. Great set! ... show more
