Description

Improved Data Integrity With support for LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) error correcting code technology, the SU760 can detect and fix errors to ensure data integrity and thus enjoy an extended lifespan. Resilient, Shockproof, Quiet With no mechanical components, SSDs are more resilient than HDDs. They are more resistant to shock, vibration (1500G/0.5ms) and a wide range of temperatures (0°C-70°C), therefore providing better protection for your data. What’s more, SSDs also run silently and consume less power. • Warranty is completely useless
Capacity: 240 GB Style: 2D NAND
3 years from the date of MANUFACTURE not from the date of purchase. I had 4 240GB and a 120GB that failed within a short time of each other. Three of the 4 240GBs were purchased on the same date -- ALL FAILED HARDCORE -- but since I submitted the RMA shortly after their MANUFACTURE date and before the date of purchase, they wouldn't help. The last 240GB was purchased the month before. The 120GB? Meh. But seriously, 4 drives, all up and DIED within a couple weeks of each other, and the manufacturer was essentially like 'Lol ur dryvs are not our problem!'. 3 Year warranty my ass. I will never deal with Adata again. Nor Silicon Power. To the support person that *MIGHT* respond to this, don't bother. I smashed the crap out of them with a hammer and cremated the remains. ... show more

Solid performance with an extremely responsive company behind it. • Great SSD, but do check out the SU-800 model
Capacity: 256GB Style: 3D NAND
I've been buying Adata drives to use for my computer repair business, and they work great. I am hopeful that the wear leveling technology these drives claim to have will give them a longer lifespan than other inexpensive SSDs on the market. An SSD is a quick and effective solution for breathing new life into an aging PC; especially because Windows 10 runs terribly on traditional hard drives. However, upon further researching, I will probably be pushing customers to buy the SU-800 models instead of the SU-760 because SU-800's have a dedicated DRAM chip which makes the drive faster and extends the lifespan of the flash memory. However the SU-760 model claims to have an "Embedded DRAM Buffer" which (according to my understanding) is similar to having a dedicated DRAM chip. I am still confident that these drives will hold and possibly outlive the computers that I've equipped with them. ... show more

  • New life for old laptop
Capacity: 256GB Style: 3D NAND
I installed this into an 11 year old HP laptop that I keep around for infrequent emergency use. Installation was physically easy and the laptop is now noticeably snappier while running Windows 10. I got the 256gb size because I didn’t need more (and it’s an old laptop anyway). P. S. I did run into one issue that wasn’t the drive’s fault - after installing it, I couldn’t boot from the Windows setup USB drive; I kept seeing “No bootable device found” even though I was pressing Esc at power on. To fix things I had to temporarily put back the old drive and change the BIOS boot order so that USB was ahead of the hard drive. ... show more

  • Used to upgrade capacity for gaming SSD - Works Great!
Capacity: 512GB Style: 3D NAND
I needed a larger SSD for storing some game files. This 512GB SU760 SSD replaced a smaller 256GB Adata SU760 SSD. I cloned the smaller drive to the new drive with my backup software and with a few minor tweaks afterwards to game settings, I was off and running with the larger capacity SSD. I assume performance (very good) will be similar to what it was with the smaller drive. ... show more

  • Cheap SSD, maybe a little too cheap
Capacity: 1TB Style: 3D NAND
This SSD is what is called a DRAM-less SSD, this means that it is fast for small transfers, but large reads or writes can slow it down to almost HDD speed. I forgot to check for this when I purchased it. Although I am using it for a secondary drive in my machine. For that it works perfectly. I wouldn't recommend using it as a boot drive, it will work but a couple dollars more will help enough that I think its worth it. A good purchase and a good price, I just wouldn't recommend it for the main drive in a computer build. ... show more

  • Good value for general use
Capacity: 256GB Style: 3D NAND
I have been installing Adata SSD's in old PCs and Laptops for 3 years. There have been no issues with the drives and computers run great after pristine in stall of Windows. Good way to get more life out of old computers with good processors. Best used in computers with DDR3 and DDR4 memory and i3 (or equivalent) or better processors. ... show more

  • Works better than promised
Capacity: 256GB Style: 3D NAND
While there was an issue with the delivery (I got an empty envelope), the drive works better than advertised! My system has become faster than any other computer I've worked on other than in an office environment. I click a button and the page or program is on screen and functional before I can get my fingers back onto the keyboard. Wondering how quick the system will be when I upgrade the memory! ... show more
