This 60" bench came via FedEx and because it weighs so much the box was in rough shape by the time it got to us. The bench itself was fine and arrived with all of its parts intact. There are 4 big pieces to put together to complete it. Using 8 large bolts and a tool for turning those bolts into place. I used a pair of step stools to hold the seat of the bench level off the ground, so it would line up to receive the bolts through the holes in the left and right arm/leg parts. Easy. Easy. Easy! Customers should know that our bench had no steel rod behind the backrest, but it does have 2 stainless steel rods running the length of the seat (front and back edges) underneath the bench. (Also note that the assembly guide says there are 10 bolts, but 10 is NOT correct. The kit comes with 8 bolts to be used in 8 holes. 10 bolts would be 2 too many.) We were very impressed with the fit and finish of this bench. This is no light weight. The bench is very robust and will stand the test of time. Our bench is out in the elements 365 days a year. Sun and snow and has shown no deterioration or color fade since we placed it in our Mid-west state, sunny yard. If we had a place to put another bench, I'd buy it. ... show more

Really sturdy. They have hidden two aluminum metal tube's the length of the seat which makes it very sturdy. I see how they can claim 750 pound capacity. Easy to put together strong and looks great - Maintenance free!!!

These benches (I ordered 2) are excellent…and heavy! Very well made and easy to put together. There are just 4 pieces. I purchased dark brown. I wish there were matching dark brown tables by this same company.
