Very comfortable and nice looking set. Others have complained about assembly and alignment but it was not as bad as described in other reviews. As for the hardware and some pieces not being labeled it’s important to take a sharpie and use the instructions to label the bags of hardware before opening them this will save you a lot of time during assembly. I also took inventory of all parts before assembling and if any labels were missing labeled those as well with sticky notes. As for alignment it’s important to install all hardware loosely for any given section and then not fully tighten until it is perfectly aligned. Even with that assembly took about 4 hours but was worth it. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a nice outdoor daybed.

So I wanted to write a review because I read all of them before purchasing and I was really worried about if I’d be able to actually put it together. While it definitely took double the time than the directions said, it really wasn’t THAT bad if you do the right prep work and then have the right tool. So here is my advice: 1) Before starting, take out all of the pieces and organize them. Take the bags of screws and bits and label them with sharpie by looking at the directions. One of my “jobs” in putting this together to save time was gathering up all of the right pieces for each step to hand to my husband. There were a lot of steps we were able to work on at the same time. We did accidentally use the wrong mirrored piece and had to undo it at one point, so just be careful. The directions aren’t the best, but I wouldn’t call them terrible either. All of our pieces aligned correctly (seriously, don’t skip tip 4!) and the stickers stayed on each piece when I took them out of the box. 2) You will hate yourself if you try to use the tools it came with. The angles are so awkward and it is difficult to turn the screws by hand. We used a ratchet and star screw bit that fit. If you don’t have those things already it is absolutely worth buying a cheap set before starting to put this together. 3) I don’t know how anyone could possibly put this together on their own. There were a lot of times I held things up for my husband to get the right angle. Bribe a friend need be! 4) DO NOT fully tighten the screws until the end of setting up each piece. This way you can flex things so they fit in the really awkward angles. As other reviews mentioned, the cushions do not stay on by themselves. Deducted one star for the fact that there is no built in way to help them stay on. I tried Velcro, but the adhesive won’t stick to the cushions so if I want to go that route I’ll need to hand sew it on which seems like a big. Before I go that route I’m trying a big rug gripper. One complaint my husband had it is feels lower to the ground that he expected, but that’s not a huge deal to me. The cushions are just alright, about the quality I’d expect from cheap plastic wicker furniture. I did not have any issues with delivery, but one box did come a couple days after the other. So don’t freak out if yours don’t come at the same time. Overall I’m very happy and do think this is a good value for the price! UPDATE: So I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now and I LOVE it. It has truly become my happy spot. So many people have asked me where I got it and are jealous. I wanted to add here that the rug gripper works amazingly well. I bought a very large sheet of it on Amazon and then put the pillows on it and traced around it in sharpie and used scissors to cut it out. If you were separating the pieces to use for more people I would say you would need to cut the rug gripper for each piece to make the cushions stay on, but I haven’t done that yet and we mainly plan of keeping it together. I do wish the sun shade was a bit bigger, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The cover it came with is garbage and too small to even properly fit over everything so it’s a huge pain. But it was free so….. It does seem like the cushions will flatten out and not fully regain their shape after using regularly by the end of this year. I still think it’s pretty comfortable though. Again, I think having reasonable expectations for this thing is important here and you do get what you pay for. I’ll probably try to get better cushions next year if they’re flat. Still, my husband and I both agree that we love this thing and it’s definitely worth the price and pain putting it together. Even with having to buy the rug gripper, possibly a new cover, and cushions it is probably about 1/3 the cost of comparable ones I’ve come across.

UPDATE - I called customer service and amazon put me in communication with the seller. They replied within a day and looked into the issue of the missing box. It was shipped separately and they provided the tracking number. The missing box was received next day. If you are not handy, you may want to get somebody that is. The instructions are clear, all the parts labeled but it can be very tedious to put together (I am a mechanic so these things are no problem for me). My husband has zero patience and it was amusing to see him struggle. The key is to have a hex bit and ratcheting tools to make this easier. Some parts will be better for two people to put together. Do not skip instructions and do not take shortcuts. The bed is comfortable and beautiful, well made. I really love it and I hope it lasts under the weather. It even came with a cover. It is an excellent buy and the seller is great! ORIGINAL POST: I just received my order today and only received 2 out of 3 boxes. Just put in a request with customer service and will update once I get resolution.

Pros: Good looking, sturdy (had it 3mos now) Cons: 1) The assembly instructions could have been better. It needs more details on how the seats are built. 2) The cover is worthless. Water leaks right through it. Now I have to shell out more money for an actual cover that will not allow light rain to seep right through and drench the cushions. I can't use it after rain without remove the inner cushions and allowing to air dry. They hold so much water. My only other option is to purchase a container and remove the cushions each time. How inconvenient is that though? 3) They didn't provide any velcro to secure the cushions. Thankfully I already had some from another patio set that I purchased from Wayfair.

As others have said- very difficult to put together with a small allen wrench- took 2 men to do this- cushions are very flimsy, move around and blow off with wind. The actual canopy is awful- brackets lasted less than a year even with a new cover I bought for it. I emailed the vendor customer service and months later no response. Canopy doesn't stay up. Cushions very hard to keep clean as well- frame itself not very sturdy. So after just 2 years I am tossing this out and investing in a higher priced replacement.l Don't buy!

This is my favorite place to lay and read in spring and summer. Had it over a year and it still is new looking (we did store it during the winter months). The only problem s I have is getting the cushions to stay in place which I am going to correct with Velcro. And the cover isn’t the greatest. It doesn’t stay on when it’s windy or keep it fully dry. That’s the only reason for the 4 star. Otherwise this is a great purchase. I definitely would buy it again.
