This Car Dent Repair Tools Set comes with a nice plastic case, a standard Pick & Finish hammer, Heavy Bumping hammer, Toe dolly, Wedge dolly, Double-Ended dolly, and a General Purpose Spoon. Apparently, all these tools are made of carbon steel and all the hammers have hickory handles. There are some imperfections on the hammers but nothing really grossly malformed. I'm a bit surprised to see that there is no Chisel hammer on this set that my uncle, who is on body repair business always uses. I tested this on a malformed GI sheet and did a bit okay. I'm not a professional and I just dabble on a little minor body repair. I have tried to help out using my uncle's tools doing this and this will be my first set of automotive body repair kit. I think it's a decent set for non professionals like me.

I am not a professional auto body repair person. I'm not even much of a hobbyist at auto body repair. I have replaced a few doors and fenders and done a few patch panels with varying degrees of success, so I'm far from an auto body expert. I do own a lot of tools and I use my tools a lot. I can appreciate good tools when I see them, and I like this set of tools very much. The set comes with a rugged molded plastic case that is well designed and functions well. There are two hammers and four dollies in the set. The hammers look like quality items to me. The hammer heads have excellent fit and finish with nicely polished crowns. The handles are somewhat roughly shaped and finished, but that's not a bad thing. I like them. They feel good it the hand. The handles are mounted to the hammer heads with epoxy resin and I don't expect to see them ever come loose. The dollies look like quality items to me with excellent fit and finish. The surfaces are nicely polished and they too feel good in the hand. I think the tools in the set should cover a wide variety of tasks in a wide variety of situations. The set seems like it would be plenty good enough quality for most any amateur and likely many professionals as well. I think the set offers excellent quality and value for the money. I'm very happy to have it.

Decent set but the planishing hammer is flat pointed and all of the flat hammer surfaces are convex, there's no flat hammer. The finish and shape on the other tools is good, no problems there but I'm disappointed in the hammers. This is my secondary set so it's not a huge deal to have some rounded head hammers and I already have a good planishing hammer, so I don't really need another.

Tools were heavy duty and solid. Case came broken and seems brittle. I take heavier tools out and place them in their own spot in the garage or use heavy duty ammo cans for storage. Overall, a decent beginner set of body tools. Which is all I really need for quick fix or small custom metal work pieces I am working on as they come in very handy when working on miscellaneous sheet metal projects around the garage. Good beginner set, will see how long the wooden handles hold up.

I haven't gotten to use this a ton but, everything held up well on that application. The hammers are lightweight but very strong. Everything is built well and looks really nice. I love having all of the options you get with this kit. Has everything a beginner would need to fix small projects. I used it on my old tractor fender. Everything fits comfortably in the hand and it works really well. This inexpensive set worked very well. Handles are tight on hammers and they are comfortable to use. This is my first dent kit. I used this to learn and practice and I have to say, it's amazingly versatile with all the angles and options. I was very impressed when I opened the case and had a moment to examine the contents. The hammers are a very nice quality and have a good variety of the typical shapes you need for working sheet metal repairs. Not many sets include a long reach hammer for working inside of a door panel. Additionally the finish on the hammers and dollies is quite good, they are all ground to smooth even shapes that won't put unwanted blemishes in your work piece.

Visual inspection shows that the components of this kit are well manufactured with good fit and finish. There is a good selection of dollies for all types of work. The dollies are well designed, heavy enough to work well but not so heavy to cause extreme fatigue. The surfaces are well ground and polished. No casting porosity was observed. The round hammer faces are slightly rounded without sharp edges and well polished. The hammer handles are smooth and easy to grip. Apparent roughness seen in some of the photos on the polished surfaces is lacquer applied by the manufacturer to prevent rust. The blow molded case is made in one piece which means the hinge is simply a solid strip of plastic connecting the two sides which will fail eventually.
