I have had these for 2 1/2 years now, and thought I would come back and review them. Because they are inexpensive and I have managed to wear them for 2 1/2 years! This to me is really amazing. I still have all of the original set, and while they are starting to show their age, this is still great because I wear them almost everyday when it is cold - so really about 6 months out of the year! I wear them daily during winter, under dresses and skirts. I also will wear them under a long tunic. I don't like how they look when wearing them as actual leggings, and they won't work for workout type of pants. They are stretch/elastic isn't strong enough for exercising. But as a layering piece in lieu of tights they work great. And other's might find them ok for wearing as pants, but I don't think they work well that way. The material itself is a little shiny, but not overly. The fleece on the inside does help keep you warmer, but over the years it has begun to wear away a little bit. Still warmer than regular tights though. The waist band is pretty loose. I know some mentioned that they don't stay up. I don't have issues with that, but I am sitting at a desk most of the day when wearing these, so not high activity. But even walking around the office or between car and inside they don't really slip down. And the comfort is awesome because there is no tight waistband. As far as washing, I throw these into the regular wash and dryer. No special care has been used, and they STILL lasted this long. I would have been happy if I only got one season. To get three seasons was totally unexpected. I am about to buy more because I have lost a lot of weight, so they just don't fit right any longer. But I was specifically pulling up my old order because I want to get the same product. So clearly I would recommend these! Just realize that these are fashionable, so don't expect exercise quality.

Very comfortable, wash up nicely, colors don't fade. Very happy. Fit is a little big, but once washed, perfect. Quite warm. Highly recommend.

You fooled me again with the size. It says 2X but when it comes it says 2X/3X. That makes them too big. They show in the picture the waist near your belly button but these pants come up to my bra and then some. These pants are for people who have very long legs. I can’t pull them up high enough and still need to roll them up. I hate them because I can make it a jumpsuit, no shirt needed- thats how far you can pull them up 😡

Great leggings! Very comfy and cozy. I am plus size and normally wear a 2X and the 2X/3X are perfect. Great colors to wear with Lularoe items (I just like my leggings solid and warm). Only two drawbacks - probably because I'm a larger lady - is the waistband sits lower in back. This isn't a problem for me because I'm bigger bellied and need more room up front; and you need to be very careful how you put these on. Put them on like pantyhose. The material is much like hose/tights but a scooche thicker. The waistband will pull away from the leggings if you pull or tug. So make sure to don these as you would panthose or tights. The outside material is the sameas well so you should take care not to pull or snag then if at all possible. I wear them under dresses and skirts but would not wear them under a shirt as the croch is gusseted and not seamed. If your shirt or sweater is going to cover you to mid-thigh they would be okay, but not just a regular Tee or sweater. These things are not going to affect my wearing of these perfectly cozy leggings :) I know I'll be glad I have them during the deep freeze known as January comes! Oh, and wash inside out in a lingerie bag and hang to dry! Treat them as you would any other fine lingerie. This will help reduce pilling, snags, and stretching. Happy cozy wearing!

Full disclosure, I've just opened my package so I cannot vouch for how long these tights hold up to the test of time. That said, I got every color listed here. I'm a size 18 (waist 37", hips 47") and the 2x/3x fit wonderfully. The feel of these leggings are honestly divine! extremely soft and cozy, with plenty of comfortable stretch. The smell others complained about is certainly not so extreme for me. it's a mild smell, not exactly different from something you might smell from new clothes in a department store. The vague "petrol" chemical smell is somewhat accurate, but it's just not as offensive or overwhelming as others have stated (I had to shove my nose against the fabric to smell it, and it didn't bother me. I would feel comfortable wearing these right from the package. I expect it to fade in the wash, regardless), but perhaps they had a very different experience than I did. While the scent is similar, if others hadn't made the comparison, I wouldn't have considered it or made any note of it at all. The colors look accurate to the picture, if not a bit darker, which I prefer. They aren't garish or too bright, but instead are muted and honestly perfect for the wintertime. I plan to wear these under skirts (I rarely wear pants), and I don't want them to overwhelm my outfits. The fabric feels like several wonderfully soft layers of nylon, with a fleecy texture on the inside. They are a perfect alternative to nylon stockings for the wintertime. That said, I can feel the fabric catching a little on the dry skin on my fingers and little rough bits on my nails. Like with a good pair of nylon stockings, I would recommend taking proper care of your nails before handling these, to protect them from snagging and pilling.
