The media could not be loaded. I noticed a ton of the reviews on this product are actually for something else from Auxbeam. My review is for the following: Auxbeam 5In X-PRO Series LED Offroad Lights, 270° Ultra-Wide Side Shooter Driving Pods. This is a short-term review as I have only had them installed for a day. I'll update down the road with a longer-term one. I had a cheapy 18" light bar on my front bumper and two small pods which at first, I thought was bright. That was when my Jeep XJ had halogen headlights so pretty much anything is bright compared. I then upgraded to LED headlights and when the lightbars were on my headlights were actually better. I figured it was time for new auxiliary lights. I looked at KC and Baja Designs and just can't bring myself to spending $500 to $800 for 2 lights. Are they better? Probably. Are they brighter? Probably. Am I racing the Baja 1000 in my XJ? Nope, sometimes I do pretend to :=) Do I really need a $600 set of lights getting stolen while out hiking or biking? NO. Ok, my initial impressions are the following: 1. They are bright, very bright 2. Beam pattern is well-done. I have them mounted on front bumper where they are close to the turn signals. They throw light far, the side-shooters really do a good job of getting light to the sides. This was a big improvement over my last setup. I almost don't need ditch lights. 3. Wiring Harness: Impressed actually. I wasn't going to use them at first as I already had a relay and switch setup already done. After inspecting the harness, I gave it a shot. The hardest part is drilling a hole in the firewall to get the switch into the cab. The rest is basically Millennial/Gen-Z proof. (you'll know you are one of the 2 if you are offended by that, LOL) 4. On/Off Switch: Seems a little cheap. Time will tell. It is lit up with Red (off)/ Green (on) lights. 5. Mounting hardware: Good, no complaints. Very adjustable. 6. Installation Instructions: Good. Didn't even need to get my Chinglesh phone translator out. You really don't need any instructions to install this. The only thing I can't review is the longevity. I will post something in a couple of months or sooner if I have any issues. The media could not be loaded. I was nervous to buy these because they were cheap, but Auxbeam made a believer out of me! These say "flood/spot combo" but don't be fooled. They're 90% spot with a VERY tight pattern and 10% flood thanks to the "side shooters". This is exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted to see far down the road while trail driving. Installation is a piece of cake as all the relays, wire, and switches are included. Overall, I am very happy with how they look and perform. Time will tell when it comes to durability. I will be keeping an eye out for moisture, RF interference, discoloration of the lens/body, or rust. I have high hopes since these seem to be built well. ... show more

At first I could not guess at what was in this very, very heavy package left at my door. Shocked to find it was the Auxbeam lights. Very heavy duty well made. A throw-back to and older (better) era. Even the packaging was better than average. Ample HD cord comes with it. Switch has LED lights to let you when power is on. Flood/ spots very bright. Side lights give great lateral light. And the amber daylights just look darn great. Would buy again. ... show more

I had these installed by someone. So I’m not sure how hard or easy it is. They come with covers and a little controller. They are very bright. Looks good on a Jeep/Gladiator. The only issue I have with it so far. The adhesive on the back of the switch is weak. Came off within minutes. Easy fix though. I went a got some gorilla glue buttons. I bought these for my Jeep and they not only look awesome, they were super easy to install, and a really bright! I will be buying these again. These lights are a spot light type, so it’s a sharp bright beam versus a flood look.

So far, I was really impressed with these lights. The beam pattern is great and the side lights are awesome. I did not expect them to be that wide. Look great on my ram and I’m very happy with them. Only issue I had was the double sided tape on the back of the switch is junk. Advice. Take it off before you even try to mount it and use something better. Other than that, these things work and look awesome ... show more

    • Good Looking, But there's a MAJOR problem

Install was relatively easy on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler. They look great on and off. The issue is I can see light coming through where the lense attaches to the led body. There's a slight gap. As soon as it rains. They will be all done. Definitely not water resistant at all. I'm sure I'll be requesting a new set or returning them as soon as it rains. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't think so. ... show more
