one thing not mentioned is the USB connection does not fit into the back of our newer Mac desktop. We had to use an additional adapter and plug into wall outlet. The light itself works very well.

This light is exactly what I was looking for. It's so simple to put together a child can do it. I was able to clamp it to a 3 inch piece of wood that I have on my desk which made it convenient for me since I did not want to clamp it onto the plexiglass. It gave me enough height that I did not have to worry about it truly being in the way. It also ended up being a great light for my camera. The clamps for the light itself are a little flimsy but once you get them in place they stay nicely. It does not come with a plug for the light itself however I plugged it into my hard drive this way I did not have to worry about any additional plugs. Great product! ... show more

I work from home full time and have a small desk. This light clips right to my desk and plugs in via USB, so saves an outlet for something else. You can choose warm or cool light and adjust the brightness for each. It stays at your last setting, so if you turn it on by the center switch, it'll be at your preferred setting. It has a generous adjustable arm that's nice and thin and clips to attach the cord to it so it stays neat. I've had other clip on desk lamps that were nowhere near as good as this one. This desk computer lamp is well made and it works well. The only thing is, the advertising says that it is designed in a way that allows the user to place it behind a monitor, with the actual light source extending out over the screen without causing glare or a dilution of screen colours. Well, that’s sort of true, but only as long as the lamp is positioned perfectly. If the light is too close to the plane of the screen, or if the lamp head is not tilted exactly right, it will cause significant glare along the screen’s top edge. I just put this together and am VERY impressed! First off, it’s clearly well-build and I’m confident it’ll last. Second, both the brightness and tint/color are adjustable. If I’m working late at night, my eyes have different light requirements than in the middle of the day. I can also easily adjust the height and direction and it’ll stay where I put it.
