Searched 4 months for a mid to small sized, unique, stylish dining room table...THIS IS IT! Got lucky and caught it on sale. Think my purchase price was less than $275 for the polished chrome, counter height base and 42'x42' STURDY glass top. Took me about 90 minutes (solo) to assemble, while I was watching some documentary. Getting it assembled wasn't difficult at all -- but the design played tricks on my eyes so I kept re-checking I was still placing "slats" in the right order. As for the HEAVY table top...this whole things gets assembled upside down. I used an inexpensive faux fur queen sized bedspread to cover the floor/workspace, then carefully placed the glass top on it. After that, the zig-zag base, tighten everything and you're done. Would have been nice to have assistance getting it upright, but since it was only me, I put on work gloves with some grip, bent my knees, gave it a test lift then went at it full throttle. Suggest you assemble in the exact area you plan to place it. This thing looks like it might tip over, but that is NOT the case. Only gave it 4 of 5 stars because glass top came cracked with a small sliver missing on one of four curved ends. It's not noticeable or rough as to cut or injure you. It is what it is...AN AWESOME DINING ROOM TABLE FOR AN EXCELLENT PRICE. Compliments my home decor nicely and will make it pop with colorful place settings and artwork on the wall. [4 counter-height chairs purchased separately from another Amazon seller, also at a terrific price + all arrived within 3-4 days - earlier than expected.] ... show more

I love the table! Only problem I had was some bolts not lining up with the holes, it was a pretty easy fix with a hammer though. Overall, super cute, sturdy table!

I like the table and it seems sturdy enough however, there is a small crack in the glass. It’s still functional at this point though. I did have a problem with one of the bolts not gripping when I screwed it in. It took me a while to makeshift something in order for the screw to remain in.
