My son outgrown the bunk bed and we ordered this full size bed frame.. Initially, not quite knowing shipped from Ireland but it promised to get delivered in a few weeks. Out of the blue.. it got delivered one week earlier with notification. The delivery folks wore masks and polite.. and offered to deliver inside but we were ok to handle the 4 big packages ourselves from the porch. We opened the boxes and found many pre-assembled pieces. All we had to do was to assemble the various pieces together. As usual, it req’d more time to read the instructions than the actual work.. the instructions were ok but could need some improvement.. and also measurement noted in “cm” instead of inches.. but no problem for us. So, once we got the bed together, it looks great, especially with the comfy mattress we purchased. However, we had to do some major adjustments on several of the slats to make it come together properly. My sister is amazing. Her skills from taking woodworking classes in high school really paid off. Left to myself, I would have had to hire a professional to put this together. Having several parts wasn’t the issue. It was having parts that weren’t fitting properly that was the problem. When all is said & done, it looks awesome, but, what a headache to assemble. ... show more

I bought this for my son so he could have more storage and utilize his space better. This was easy to put together and is holding up really well. The color was exactly as I expected too.

Platform for mattress does not cover frame completely. So there are plenty of chances of something falling (remotes etc) thru the cracks and being lost in never land. Drawers do not slide smoothly at all. I would have preferred the frame to have a small edging to keep mattress in place, makes it harder to change sheets when the mattress keeps sliding a little. ... show more

We received 3 out of the 4 boxes. Also, one of the boxes was completely damaged. Some broken wood and the inner side rails had the paint peeling off. The outside of the bed/drawers has a nice shiny coating, but the inner does not so it's easier for the paint to peel off. We are returning it. I am not sure if I will be trying to order this item again. ... show more

Would have liked a hole cut out for cords in the headboard. Assembled it by myself (50 year old female) Doable but easier with 2 people I’m sure. Very pleased with it so far!

This bed is sturdy and gives storage without adding additional furniture to the bedroom. It is tall, so I use a small step stool to get into bed! The drawers slide easily and are plenty big (I use the footboard drawers for socks, t-shirts, and other small items. The side drawers are being used for jeans, shorts, and extra bedding) ... show more
