I bought the Mizuno F24 CRBN1 for my daughter going into her high school season, and I have to say — this bat is the real deal. She’d been swinging a different composite bat for a while, but once she picked up the CRBN1, she immediately noticed how much lighter and more balanced it felt. The pop off the bat is impressive. Right from the first practice, she was driving balls deeper and with more consistency. It has a nice, clean sound when the ball makes contact — not too loud or "pingy" like some other bats. You can really tell it’s made with quality carbon composite materials. Mizuno clearly put effort into making this a performance bat. Another thing we both like is the grip. It’s tacky without being too sticky, and it absorbs vibration well — she hasn’t complained once about sting, even on mishits in colder weather. Performance-wise, it’s delivered everything we were hoping for. She’s quicker through the zone and hitting with more confidence. Plus, the sleek matte black design with subtle Mizuno graphics looks sharp on the field. Overall, the Mizuno F24 CRBN1 has been an awesome upgrade — lightweight, hot out of the wrapper, and built to perform. My daughter is quite the power hitter. This bat seems perfect for her thus far. She's a little over 6 ft, and she likes the longer bats. This one is a good size for her. Thus far, it's holding up to her swings. She swings for the fences pretty much every time she sees a ball. If it's going to break, she's going to break it. After every game, I check it over to make absolutely sure that there are no cracks. Thus far it's good. She does hit more home runs with this than she did with whatever the team was providing. The team provided the cheapest softball bats they could find, so that's not surprising. So, it definitely has improved her performance. It also hasn't caused any problems with her hands.
