My Acer aspire A515 laptop used to be slow to open programs or run multiple programs at once, and the fan ran nearly constantly. Now I have a big screen hooked up and a new hard drive and she’s moving right along again, no PS crashes or Word crashes. But mostly, the fan is so loud and I’m glad it’s quieted down. Not real techy on my end. Just make sure to disconnect your power **and your laptop battery**, ground yourself, then install!

8GB of RAM wasn't quite cutting it for me anymore. After many hours of research I settled on this RAM unit here. Its specs were what I needed, and it was one of the only single rank modules I could find. I figured I should stick to single rank as the other (unremovable, unupgradeable) stick currently installed in my laptop was also single rank. During my long hours of research I could not find a definitive answer of whether or not mixing dual rank and single rank was fine, so I figured better safe than sorry. I'm certainly not sorry I bought this. Super easy installation, immediate recognition by my laptop. Went from 8GB to 20, and have seen a marked increase in performance. Windows 11 is a hog of an operating system, but now that I have more RAM overall, it's less noticeable. I can now run multiple programs and Chrome browsers without my memory usage skyrocketing through the roof! A huge win, in my book. Incidentally, my laptop is an Acer, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with an Acer RAM module. I would assume this unit would also work in non-Acer machines, but as I didn't install it in one, I can't say with 100% certainty. YMMV. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased for my Acer Aspire 5 Ryzen 3 laptop. It came with 4gb and windows 10s, and ran pretty smooth, but I then went to just 10, it started to slow down. Once I went to 11, well I knew I had to do something. Put this in and now it acts quicker and smoother than before. Nice price too.

I purchased to upgrade my PC's Ram and the product seems to be working great. It fixed a little bit of the stuttering I was having with one poorly optimized AAA game I have been playing, but overall it wasn't a huge difference. I would say it was a net success purchasing this product.

Took like 10 minutes to snap into my Acer Nitro 5, and boy oh boy... Wow! I had 8gb RAM originally. Installed a 16gb and now I have 24. I can have my graphics settings on high now and even Ultra in some games and still get such amazing FPS not even a little pitter patter of a stutter.... I'm currently playing Nightingale and before the upgrade, my FPS had to be capped at 30 and I was still getting stuttering on lowest graphics settings. Now with more RAM, I can really get the most out of my Graphics card. The game looks incredible and runs so fast I'm not even sure my reaction time is fast enough LOL I am super duper satisfied. Was able to get next day delivery too AND it got here early! Not even dinner time yet and I'm gaming like a Pro now! Highly recommend! 😍
