2023 model with out-of-date operating system
CPU: i7-1355U
Style: 14" WUXGA/16GB/512GB
Defective motherboard. Despite spending $75 to get computer to recognize battery, it goes dead instantly if it's unplugged. Don't buy it from this company. Sold me a 2023 computer as "new."

Great laptop .. on Windows 10 only
CPU: i7-1355U
Style: 14" WUXGA/16GB/512GB
I love what you get for the price! However when I plugged in my Logitech c920 webcam and installed the latest Windows updates the next time I rebooted I had no audio and no webcam video. Windows said there were no audio devices installed. Whether I plugged in my external USB speaker, USB headphones, or just used the laptop speaker it told me the same thing. I reinstalled and tried different drivers but nothing fixed it... until I installed Windows 10. Now everything works great. Hopefully the next Windows 11 update will fix the problem. UPDATE: I decided that being stuck on Windows 10 with no more updates wasn't a good idea. After contacting Acer tech support they had me send them the laptop for repairs. I just got it back and all they did was reinstall Windows 11. That worked until I ran Windows Update and downloaded the latest Windows updates. Now I'm back to the same problem!! Is the solution to not get updates? Doesn't sound right to me.
