The mower came with mulching blades but… meh. I got replacement Cadet/MTD high lift blades from the local big box store and those worked well till I mowed too low over the gravel part of the driveway and tore off the ends of the lift part of the blades; no balancing those suckers even with an hour of grinding and balancing. These ones from amazon match up exactly to the store ones I damaged (except these are whole 😁).. They are balanced (per the balancing tool). They arrived coated with anti-rust like a paint job, so you may want to run a file along the edge to make them razor sharp but they work fine for me as-is. Hopefull the steel isn’t too soft of a chinese steel, but we’ll see how they work out. I can always sharpen them. Recommended.

Fit my 42" Craftsman Zero Turn perfectly with the same high lift action as the original blades. Like other blade I've purchased they do not come very sharp which I do not know why, so I did touch them up with a file.

I would have paid twice as much at the store for equal quality blades. Fit my Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 perfectly. Sharpened with my angle grinder and the blades cut really well. I will make these my standard blades due to price and performance. No point in over paying for blades.

Craftsman 1500 42-inch riding mower. Fit like they should and brought a welcome refresh to the cut quality. My old blades, even when new, didn't do a great job and required multiple passes and large overlap when cutting. These are much better.

Overall, I'm very happy with these replacement mower blades. They fit my Cub Cadet XT1-LT42 perfectly and the cut is good right out of the "box." They were easy to install, perform as expected and are a good value for the money.
