The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the ACEMAGIC Mini Gaming PC with the Ryzen 9 6900HX processor and AMD Radeon 680M graphics for my light crypto mining activities. After using several mini PCs, I can confidently say this Ryzen 9 chip is the best for a small form factor. Unlike my i9 -11th gen H chip, this one doesn't throttle and handles heavy loads with ease. I particularly liked the performance toggle for easily switching between silent, auto, performance modes. Cons: 1. Operating System: It only comes with Windows Home, not the Pro version. Given the price, including Windows Pro would have been a nice touch. 2. Initial Setup: The first software upgrade was problematic, taking a long time with several crashes. I love this has the best graphic card for mini pc. I used to have mini pc with Intel i9 with intel integrated graphic. Since mini pc can't have external graphics, I had to look for manufacturer with best integrated graphics. . Because AMD makes graphic cards themselves, I figured has better integrated graphic and that was true. It is small, quiet, and fast. The media could not be loaded. I wanted a mini pc that could do light gaming and 3d modeling for 3d printing and this fits the build. The amd 7740 cpu packs a punch and the 780m is one of the best igpus out now. It also has 32gb ddr 5 and a tb of space which is good enough to get rolling. I was able to play hell divers 2 and company of hero’s 3 on low smoothly and was able to hit 80 plus fps in forza. Definitely a powerful mini pc. It’ also has usb 4 for an e Gpu for down the lane. But I can't. The hardware and the value on this MiniPC are exceptional. I bought this to replace a slightly older MinisForum MiniPC because the AM18's specs were so much better for the same power. Let me lead by telling you what's wrong with it: Malware! Yes. It comes with a search engine hijack that is super annoying and very hard to remove. I didn't bother. I installed Windows 11 from scratch. And that was the hard part. The windows ISO I downloaded, probably the most recent ala May 2024, didn't have drivers for some motherboard resources, most importantly the wireless chipset. So after installing Windows 11 fresh, no internet, no way to get the right drivers but haul a very heavy USB stick to my other computer, meters away, and spend some time to figure out that it is a Realtek RTLWLANE6 PCI-E Wireless LAN Network Interface Card. There's a useful bit if you go the same route. Once you have the internet up it's a matter of interrogating device manager for the drivers Windows doesn't already have. The ethernet port is an Intel chip and there's a bunch of AMD motherboard resources but if you can download AMD's automatic detection software that will solve it. Once I got all the hardware working on a clean install of Windows I installed Steam and took this machine to the gym. It's great. For the power it draws its amazing. I bought this for my camper van that runs on solar power. I replaced the AC adapter with DC USB C PD converter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFQ43L92?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It works great. Runs off of DC from my battery. When it's idling it uses about 25 Watts. When it's running Manor Lords in 4k it's using 95 Watts. Maybe you can't get 60fps at 4k in Cyberpunk 2077 but you can get 30fps at 4k for a lot of games, and that ain't bad. The graphics, all considered, are excellent. For the total package, it's an amazing deal. You have to overlook or override some malware. It subsidizes the low cost of the high end hardware. Gun to my head I have to give it the barest 4.5 stars. Which gets rounded up. It's like a cherry '74 Chevy Nova with a bit of blood on it. Are you gonna throw it out? No, you call the Wolf and you clean it up. Because it's a great deal.
